It was a good result for Khan and the first real win against world class opposition.

His next fight is not Maidana, so we can assume it'll be either Ortiz or Alexander.

I still stick by my original thoughts on Khan that he is just an average boxer with world class hand speed. Anyone who can come with a plan to negate that speed, or have any punching power will have him out. I think he would be comprehensily beaten by someone like Bradley

You have to respect Khan just for his post-fight interview. None of the usual ducking the question, saying he has to have rest or it's up to his promoters. He said straight that he would fight Maidana next and then either Bradley or Alexander after. So I think we're gonna see him test himself properly soon enough. Let's not forget also that he's only 23. Is Maidana really all that? He lost to Kotelnik after all.

Khan is garbage, stop trying to make the kid a superstar or great because it took him 11 rounds to beat a bum that a shot club fighter in Hatton beat in 9. Paulie always has and always will be a ****ing bum.

Respect to Khan but as I posted months ago this was expected. Malinaggi is a joke. He looked awful v N'Dou and awful v Hatton. He cant punch himself out of a wet paperbag either. This was a a v good opponent for Khan but he did v well. I still wanna see him in v a puncher though. I know Khan has the skills to be Maidana but the fight has to be made. I would of rather of watched that than Malinaggi!!

Khan's power still worries me. He doesnt punch that hard.

Thomas Hearns? This **** needs to stop. Thomas Hearns was knocked out by two guys in his prime; Sugar Ray Leonard and Marvin Hagler...he wasn't on ***** street against Willie Limond and knocked death by Preidis Prescott. I'm happy that Khan has made adjustments and is seemingly a factor on world level, but don't even mention Hearns here. For the love of god.

Malignaggis' not a joke, he's a good fighter, not quite top notch but very solid and fair caliber of guy for someone like Khan who's only just graduated from prospect school to be fighting at this stage of his career, but like Juan Manuel Marquez last year against Floyd Mayweather he was in a fight he couldn't possibly win, all this attributes the other guy had more of, the best thing to use against Khan is power and Malignaggi has absolutely none of it, and Malignaggis best attribute is speed and Khan's easily faster.

I thought Khan put in a good performance but not exactly the kind of thing that'll make people who don't think he's much change their minds, he did exactly what most thought he'd do but perhaps took a little longer doing it that most thought. I'd very much like to see his proposed series with Maidana and then the winner of Alexander/Bradley (if that happens) if he wins that he's done very well indeed, all those guys are much more of a test than Paul Malignaggi.
