That story he was fired was all stirred up by Pac's cutman, bitter towards Ariza, to cause problems between Pac and him. This is what Ariza said about it:

The first topic up for discussion was the rumors of distress between Freddie Roach and Alex Ariza. “There always has to be something that gets stirred up but you always need to take a look at the source.
