I am not really a fanboy, i just recognised that he is a bigger fighter than Carl Froch. He has got more importance to boxing fans, and the general public.

Everybody has always got a opinion on Amir Khan fight, he sparks a national reaction. The only other British fighter who also hits this social nerve with boxing fans and casual fans is David Haye.

I am not assed with what Level Amir Khan is, he is former world champion so he is obviously no bum. He may not been elite top level, but i can honestly say that he is a bigger fighter, more important news than Carl Froch.

If Carl Froch lost his next fight, it would not cause a public and boxing reaction that Amir Khan has.

"Because Carl Froch, is not of the same importance to people. More people tune in to watch Amir Khan, Amir Khan has more fans, Amir Khan has more haters, overall he is of more importance"......

any boxing website will have khan at the front of the pages,same as when froch koed bute,which is a better win by far than any of khans wins :thumbsup

 

The fact remains is that Carl Froch is not a big fighter, he is not big news like Amir Khan. I have seen Amir Khan's fight be covered by all the main broadcasters, they even interview David Haye on what he thinks Amir Khan should do with his career now.

You know the truth, you know i am right. You only have to look at the state of this site, Amir Khan's defeat is still the main topic.

When Carl Froch lost to Andre Ward nobody cared. Not even boxing fans, nobody talks about Carl Froch for more than a day after his fights.

I'm not too bothered who is the more 'important' fighter, whatever that means. And I'm not sure why you are, strange.

Of course Khan is better known amongst the general public, he won an Olympic silver medal where he was watched by many millions on a terrestrial channel - that doesn't mean that his pro career is any better or more important though.

Saying Khan is way bigger than Froch because Khan gets a bigger reaction is kind of dumb tbh ..

The bottom line is ... a disliked fighter losing is bound to get a bigger reaction than a admired fighter winning.

I agree, but it clearly bothers Carl Froch. He can't talk about Khan without talking about himself. It's always the same, "Khan is boring, I always come to fight", "Khan gets knocked out, I never get knocked out", basically "Everyone talks about Amir Khan, why does nobody talk about me?".
