He's improved his defence a lot. So he's meant to put his hands down and go wild just because Paulie's a non puncher? :patsch

And no you don't want to like him, because if that's your point on not liking him then you're clearly not a fan of boxing.

140 is Khan's natural weight, and now with his bodies weight balance right, more weight on his skinny legs.

The proof of his chin better at 140 is Khan's 1st fight at 140, Kotelnik is not a big puncher, but nor were Gomez(blown up 130) and Limond at 135 yet they put Khan down, but Kotelnik's punches at 140 a higher weight had no effect.

manny killed himself making 135lbs before cuz he walked around 150+ ... to loose that much weight, you cant eat three times a day.. and by doing that it takes away energy/protein/stamina from the training we strive on. - with more intense training, the easier the fight...

but to answer your question about his chin, he has to fight maidana first or alexander/bradley...

Moving up in weight might help your ability to take blows slightly, but if Khan gets a big shot flush on the chin he will go down. I find it strange how Khan fans somehow think his chin is magically turned tough. Can't condition your chin, you can slightly help your legs from wobbling by fighting at an optimal weight but ultimately you can't go from glass chin to granite. Chinny for life, if you can be KO'd in the first round, that risk will be there for the rest of your career. It's just the way it is.

Khan will have to fight in a particular way against big bomb-throwing fighters to have any success.

No one is trying to say Khan now has a great chin, but it has improved at 140 how much dont know, it's true it's yet to be tested at 140 by a big puncher, but then i guess most fighters get KOed if you let big puncher land at will or flush.

The aim of boxing is not to get hit or lessen the blow by moving off or blocking

You guys are a bunch of ignorant assholes, the guy went in there with Malignaggi for ****s sake and was not wobbled once! His chin was very much tested in that fight, and I rate it on level with Chuvalo's.

Sod the chin off, he will unify 140 within 2 years, sod Alexander and Bradley, khan will be too active and be on his bike a lot at the same time. I'm not a fan of that style, i like a boxer who can take a dig or two and give back better.(Cotto, HATTON Primes)

But **** it, if you can get away with landing enough shots clean and get away when vitally needed (not stand and trade) with good power and fast footwork, Khan so far does and can very probably will get away with it with anyone at 140 ATM. After seeing him vs Paulie, no doubt he is the fastest fighter at 140 and the fastest your Maidanas, Bradley's, Paulie's and Devon's would have faced yet with hands and feet.

His chin hasn't been tested at 140lbs. Fight Maidana, then talk. Until he proves otherwise, I'll hold the belief that his chin is as bad as it's ever been. Fighting Paulie doesn't vindicate a chin.
