"I'm going to hit Canelo and he's probably not going to feel it, but skill is going to win it. I don't want to be involved in exchanges, standing in front of him giving him free shots. I know he can hurt me with one big shot. So I have to make sure I'm balanced when I'm throwing my own shots. It's all about being disciplined and sticking to the game-plan for 12 rounds. Before, I've not respected guys who have knocked me down or out. This fight I know I can be hurt so I'll be on the edge and my defences will be sharper." http://www.bbc.com/sport/boxing/36209510 Khan appears to be more down to earth with this fight. He wasn't like this with DSG, and (possibly) with Prescott. Do you think this newfound rational thinking will play in Khan's favor (come May 7) <- (Pac accent)?
Wrong, canelo needs ro land only once if it's that money shot. Any shot thatvlands correctly on the right spot will concuss anyone. And yes, this vuilt up massively strong khan CAN hurt anyone not named ggg
I just can't see khan being able to avoid canelo for 12 rounds. Garcia timed him, algeri timed him. How can anyone think that canelo won't do the same??
i hope khan proves me wrong but i dont see it happening unless it's a maidana vs khan type fight where khan can show some sort of pop on his punches to keep canelo from walking right through them he is out of luck. khan needs to go for the left hook to the body in my opinion
sensible stuff from Khan if he can stay on the back foot the entire fight he wil win he got into trouble standing still with Algeiri
that's fair, it is very hard to believe that Khan was talking sense and being honest about his prospects.
