the network arent the ones who screwed his homecoming fight. They arent responsible for arranging the undercard!

He went primetime for the money and greed.

Oscar de la hoya fought his stay busy and tune up fights on hbo standard. in between his huge ppv fights! If thats good enough for oscar, who does khan think he is demanding ppv for terrible fight cards such as this.

It's worth noting that in the process of taking his fight off PPV, Sky also rejected the Bradley fight being on PPV. Khan's team were probably annoyed with that too.

Yeah, exactly. Assuming Khan is an idiot and chooses to let his team manage everything, at some point, he'll find out what they've done and he either chooses to accept that or doesn't. He knows his fans are getting ****ed over, yet he does nothing about it.

    Ignorance is not an excuse.

He's a 24 year old man. He can no longer hide behind the excuse of being a naïve kid.

To be fair, if society keeps calling you a ***** then what do you expect?

 After passionately defending David Haye time and time again, are you seriously gonna complain about Khan screwing over the fans? All fighters are in it for the money, and all fighters will clutch the 'nationality' card when yearning for support. Froch did the same, and when no UK TV station would support a live showing of his fight with Taylor, he too said "**** you" to British TV, and vowed to turn his attention to the US instead. And if you go read the article again, you'll notice Khan is voicing his discontent to Sky, not the fans.

It's obvious that you have little to no idea of the dynamics in an Asian family. He's not the boss, it's his father and other elders who call the shots. He plays the role of the obedient son, who does what he's told. It's actually not too different from Pacquiao, and the way he does everything Bob Arum tells him to do.

The only way we can direct serious criticism towards Khan, is if these business decisions have a direct impact on the quality of opposition he faces. And so far, they haven't. He's still managed to give us an impressive run at 140, he's still fighting tonight, and he's still intending on fighting Bradley in the summer. Because that's his job first and foremost - to fight.

In all honesty if sky did reject Bradley as PPV during all this, i dont blame him one bit for ****ing off. But it doesnt seem like something sky would do to be honest. Khan vs Bradley would sell more than Khan vs Maidana IMO.

not to mention a POSSIBLE khan vs floyd fight in the future?

Defending Haye for what? I didn't defend the Harrison fight, nor many of his other actions. Did I defend him against Klitschko? Absolutely, but I was right to do so.

And most fighters are in it for the money, absolutely, but not all fans will blatantly admit to ****ing the fans over like Khan has. He's played the nationality card when it suits him and that's unacceptable when you expect people to buy your PPV's.

I don't really care about his opinion on Sky, Sky's opinion on him or any of that other bull****. That's separate. What I do have an issue with, is Khan clearly stating he'll go wherever the money is - That's fine, but not if he's going to ask the British public for favours. I guarantee if he ever loses again, he'll come out with a load of "Returning to Britain for British fans" bull****. It's not right. Yeah, to a certain extent, every fighter is like this and you can understand a lot of it. However, there's looking out for yourself and pure greed. Khan fits in with "greed".

The order of an Asian family has absolutely no place in boxing where millions of pounds are being thrown around. It has no place there at all. If they want to do that, fine, but that sort of dynamic belongs on a lower level which everyday people can abide by. You can't apply the same principles to a normal Asian life, as you do to a PPV superstar. It's ridiculous.
