The guy is going to the U.S to make his mark, what you want him to say, 'after Paulie i will give up my title and quit boxing'.

Maidana is kind of overhyped. He is a good prospect, but he has a lot to learn. Maidana has also been put down, too, so I wouldn't be surprised if Khan fought a good fight and stopped him.
It's all good to say that Khan has a glass chin, but I'm sure now that Amir has learned that he can't bang with everybody, and when you have the speed and boxing skills he has, why not use them to get easier wins. The macho stuff can come after the wins.

Maidana, Bradley or Alexander would all have success over Khan. Fair enough Khan has improved under Roach but he still get's caught. He's been paired with no punchers since the Prescott fight (Barrera was'nt a no puncher but he was clearly past his best, and with one eye). An opponent who can box decently (he does'nt have to be the best boxer in the world) and who has even the slightest bit of power will have Khan doing the chicken dance

Malignaggi is the biggest punk in the 140lb weight division. He's just annoying with his trash talk, there is something about him that irritates me. all that does is fuel the opponents fire. I hope Khan knocks him out.

Khan is good enough to defeat anyone at 140 save for the fragile mandible of his.

Khan'll probably get KTFO a few more times in his career but I think he'll also achieve a lot as well.

    Khan beats Maidana.

He loses to Alexander and Bradley.

all three of those guys would put some hurt on Khan

didn't he back out of his mandatory to fight a "big" name guy (JMM)? or am i wrong?

and then instead, he takes a guy with no power?

if a fighter like floyd gets away with fighting JMM i don't see what Khan can't especially when you take into consideration what stage floyd and amir are in their careers.

He'll most likely fight Bradley. It is possible he fights Alexander. I would be gobsmacked if Khan fought Maidana. That fight will never happen imo.

i'm saying, he didn't take the mandatory, and instead went for a $ fight (nothing wrong with that), but then instead of fighting a guy who could put a little hurt on him, he instead went with a feather fisted boxer

this could totally be GBP's doing, so I am not quick to attack Khan, as I kinda like the guy...I just hope he doesn't become more pompous under roach

If you put yourself in Amir shoes, you wold probably do the same. Malignaggi will be a decent test for Khan without a chance of Khan getting KO'd. Its a perfect match for his American debut. Would he really risk getting KO'd on his American debut which could potentially ruin his career.

Of course, if he continues to play it safe then i would be the first to criticize him and call him a fraud. But i know for a fact that will never happen because of Khan's ambitions. But only time will tell.

Fair enough, what was written right there is understandable. Why people moan about him, is the way he blabber's **** and run's his mouth, and then goes and fight's someone who can't crack an egg. If he did'nt open his mouth so much he would'nt have half the criticism he does

Other than the time where it was reported he said he could challenge mayweather in a 4 rounds bout (Which i just read but never saw, so im not even so convinced about that) i don't understand why some people say stuff like that. Could you quote/source few of these remarks from Amir? I think im missing out on this bit.

I can't find the source as of this moment but i'll have a look...

"In a year's time i'd like to think i was sharing the ring with the likes of Mayweather, Pacquiao, etc"

"I'd like to be the first person to take Floyd's 0",

And the video this title is about, i've actually met Khan and he's also a cocky ******* in person.

IF these are true, the first comment just shows Khans ambitions in the sport. He's clearly shown he has the work ethic and dedication to be the best so why is it a crime to say he wants to fight the best when he's ready?

I would never believe the second quote unless i see it. There just so much **** out on the internet which people are so naive to believe.

As in him being cocky, I also met him when he came to Birmingham to promote his book, and he was the nicest celebrity iv met and this view is shared by many if you go onto Amir Khan's forum where many of his fans are. So one bad experience with Amir dont govern him being a cocky *******.
