Regardless of celebrity, Khan's career is going backwards. I don't doubt his talent but he isn't going in against opponents who are going to test his weaknesses and tbh he needs to be up against someone who Khan himself believes can beat him - THEN I hope we'll see his quality, or lack of. It's virtually impossible for me to rate him on his career thus far.

As far as Willie is concerned, even without the Salita fight he was lined up for a title fight eliminator and had taken his defeat on the chin, so to speak, and was moving up nonetheless. A defeat doesn't seem to have harmed his career; something Amir might want to bear in mind...

What do you expect? His a Frank Warren fighter. Frank steers ALL his fighters on the same route which is the path of the most profit with the least amount of resistance. These days way to much emphasis is placed on a loss. The facts remain ALL great fighters loose at some stage. Its how you come back from the loss that matters.

There is an obsession with being undefeated. God know's why - surely you would rather find out how good you are than beat a succession of guys, most of whom shouldn't even be in the same arena as you!

Lets see - top of Championship or middle of Premiership

I know where I would rather be :deal

I remember seeing Haye stopped by Thompson and thinking it'd be the best thing that happened to him - the longer a fighter is unbeaten the more they seem to obsess about the 0 & that single defeat did Haye no harm as he always had the ability and got a welcome reality check.

Does Amir not have a PR guy?
He's a disaster everytime he is interviewed nowadays.
Talking about beating the Pac and Campbell next after being put down by Gomez :patsch

All someone needs to tell him to do is act more humble and not talk above where he is at.

Christ I never realised how awful League 1 football was. It is the first time I have actually craved Championship footy.

In League 1 the players try and play but aren't any good - at least Championship realise they aren't any good and just launch it constantly :yep

If we get a full new midfield I think we will go up - same midfield, same division for the forseeable future.

Douglas and Prutton have got to go immediately - too fat, too slow, whilst Howson is consistently inconsistent.

I get to a few games but the tickets are such a rip off - a friend of mine works in the ticket office and she said she can get me restricted view tickets. Given the fact that the ground will more than likely be half empty, I am sure I can find somewhere decent to watch the games :rofl

Do you get to ER much?

I go to as many games as possible. I am think ing of making the plunge and getting a season ticket next year but not sure if I can get to all the games because of work and family.

I think we are ok in certain area's but need to keep hold of Beckford, he is the one peice of class in the side. I like Prutton and Douglas but think they are wasted in the roles they are asked to do. They are hard working and good at that level. We need some decent wingers and a good passer of the ball in the midfield, I liked Carole but he never seemed to get a look in. The defence is **** too, Michalik is a joke and Huntingon is very poor, Rui is far better than both. Plus I hope Kandol leaves.

I will agree with you on the two centre backs. The goalie is dodgy, though he was the only reason we didn't get one hell of a beating at Wembley.

    GK (W) Ankergren
    RB A. N. Other - not Richardson
    LB Sheehan
    CB Marquez
CB A. N. Other - not Michallik or Huntington
    LM Johnson
    RM Howson
    CM Robinson
CM A. N. Other - not Douglas or Prutton
    CF Beckford
    CF ???

Gaps to be filled by loan players and young kids from the academy

I do not mind Ankergren he can be clumsy but he has saved us a load of times to make up for it.

I really like the look of Ben Parker at left back, the kid has real quality.

Richardson is ok but we could do with someone to give him competition, he can not seem to track a player.

A centre half or two is needed. I had no problem with big Matt Heath apart from his lack of pace.

Bradley Johnson looked good but not a left back where he got played.

Howson is ok but disapears too much. I would have him in the squad but not first team.

We look to need alot of players but there is no sign of them coming in which is a worry. The squad was short last year.

That's rubbish, he does have a pinch of talent.
