Of course he does, I've been one of the kinder ones to him on here, but I get tired of this attention craving & celebrity culture that he seems to be indulging in. He wants all the trappings that go with being a succesful sportsman without proving he's the best. Lennox Lewis opened gyms when he was undisputed heavyweight champion of the world.

Richardson gets caught ball watching in every game - even if he just tracked back rather than tracking a player it would be better than what he does now....

Bradley Johnson is a decent player - but not a defender. I wasn't keen on Matt Heath (50p head) but at least he was a tryer.

Ok then - if he can achieve 1/5 of what Mayweather has

a legitmate World Champion number 1 at his weight

then I will be a believer

He needs to be pulled away from all the hype, promotion and money. Driving around in fast cars, wearing expensive clothes and doing celebrity shows is bad for his boxing career at the moment. (he's treated like a world champion already isn't he?). I agree, it appears he's an Audley waiting to happen at the moment. The standard of opposition is limited at this stage of his career and he needs to be put into a 70-30 fight at least, not fighting no hopers all the time. But, Frank and Amir can sell out the halls and make lots of money with limited risk, so who can blame them. I feel sorry for the ones who get battered over 12 rounds for **** poor money. Unfortunately, like most sports now, it's all celebrity, showmanship and popularity.
He will be a very rich man before someone sparks him for an alphabet title. That said, I quite like watching him, but he is badly flawed and truly blessed at the same time, making for exciting fights. Although his body has developed, he just doesn't have a toughness about him that top fighters like Hatton, Calzaghe, Eubank, Collins have.

Fair point, I think Limond has done the right thing by taking the MSG fight - what an opportunity for the man. Career-wise, I think he's placed himself in a win-win situation and it looks as if his management team have acted in his best interests (whilst obviously making their bit and raising their profile in the US); so well done to all.

If you read WL's comments on this DG there is total honesty as to the magnitude of the challenge that he faces - it will be tough, he knows it, but will be ready to give it his best shot. What more can you ask from someone who is shaping up to be a fighter that we can all support? I think his conduct on this forum - answering fans and contributors points in an adult and often witty fashion - has done more for his standing amongst true fight fans than the money grabbing antics of the handlers who are stearing Khan to supposed greatness.

I've no doubt that Khan is a very gifted kid and has the ability to go far; and I seriously wish him well. However, it pains me when you see him being wrapped in cotton wool to ensure that sponsorship deals run smoothly as the cash comes pouring into the FW stable for celeb' appearances etc. Someone earlier mentioned the Reebok photoshoot incident when he visited Africa - the one where the brand had to be shown when photographed with the locals... enough said. That side of the sport ain't about boxing, and we all know it; nor is about offering compassion and human aid to those less fortunate than yourself. (I'm presuming that was why he was there; I'm not cynical enough to suggest otherwise.)

But surely basic market forces will take over eventually; this being in form or shape of basic laws of supply and demand. Simply put, he'd better start supplying the goods or there will be no demand. Warren will know this, the trick (IMO) is can he have him ready at the right time and in the right weight division. So I think we might see some more beef being added and a jump into a higher division.

Let's be honest, at this stage, it's all about picking some fights and avoiding others and he's young enough to gain and lose the pounds. But maybe I am just cynical? Anyone?
