And he went life and death with Diaz and Algieri. He just isn't very good.

    Who won't take the risk?

He didn't jump up two weight classes either, 160lbs is the MW limit, not 155. It's a con to say otherwise.

Khan did not fight the best at WW. Not even close to the best.

So far Khan has shown that he is little more than a fringe contender at WW. I think most of the top guys spark him.

Lol seriously? Avanesyan, Vargas, Bradley, Vasquez, Goez, Ponomarev, Porter - Khan could easily beat those.

Brook, Thurman, Spence, Garcia, Pacman, that would be a Khan KO defeat.

You quoted N17 then never answetred his question. What has khan done at the weight to deserve a title shot?

He hasn't won a world title fight for 5 years. He ducked a world title fight at Wembley to fight Chris Algieri for about a fifth of the purse in his only fight of 2015.

Khan is a country mile away from being considered an elite Boxer and his performance and the result against Saul Alvarez does not add to his legacy at all. Even if "The legacy" were just about fighting the best guys, regardless of results, Khan would still be found wanting, in the main.

It could be argued that Alvarez is the only relevant Marquee name on his record. One could include the names of, say, Barrera and Judah but neither were anywhere near prime and light years away from being considered a top lightweight and light welterweight, respectively; certainly not the best in those divisions at the time.

Khan had his most successful spell at 140 when, for roughly three years, he fought some of the best in that division. But he didn't face Bradley and lost to both Peterson and Garcia on the bounce; neither of whom were big names at the time.

Since then, he has somewhat languished in the welterweight division, where he didn't really face any top fighters.

An undeserved, gift opportunity to fight in a lucrative mismatch, in which Khan was mostly ineffective and got spot-welded to the canvas, does not redeem Khan's modest career of the last few years and suddenly improve his record, increase his stock and overall worth.

The same Bradley who easily beat Lamont Peterson?
Porter would walk straight through Khan.

Porter is all wrong for Khan. Khan hates pressure and Khan doesn't punch hard enough to keep him away.

He's that scared of Kell that he decides to fight CANELO instead? Is that what you've really put?

I'd hate to see your brain working at full capacity, I really would.

Khan now would be a cherry pick for Brook, Khan is not a top fighter anymore and he hasn't been since 2011.

No Brixton Bomber, he said he is scared to lose to an opponent he's always claimed is not on his level.

And I'm inclined to agree. Khan does not like Brook and imo is worried about if he lost to him, I don't believe he could stand that if he did.

Brook could pick up another title vs Vargas and if Khan beat Garcia for the belt, I think he would still not fight Brook in a unification fight purely because he doesn't want to give him any limelight or potentially be beat by him.

Yes of course he is and the fact he was willing to jump up nearly two weights to fight someone that was always likely KO him shows the levels he will go to to avoid kell. This fight was all about win win, a fight that he could come out with credit with no matter the result. He's started it already, the winning till I got knocked out by a lucky punch quote that is always the case with him.

He's scared of kell. Of course he isn't get scared of getting hurt, he's a boxer for ****s sake who's shown courage his whole career. But he is terrified of what happens to his reputation if he gets put on his **** by the man who he has belittled his whole career. He clearly isn't confident by his consistent moving of the goal posts. What logical reason is there not to take the Brook fight.

Hes terrified of losing to Kell.

Get KOd by Canelo everyone will pat him on the back and he can come back, lose to Brook and he is done. Khan isn't as good as he thinks.
