Brook needs to get more fights in too. He is just getting fatter and inactivity is going to be his undoing.

Khan has more or less been in training for 6 months now while Brook has done nothing......

 

Brook would have dealt with Vargas in much better fashion, Khan needs Hunter, Goosen sounded like a complete amateur in his corner on the radio, he was telling him nothing.

 

Seriously it doesn’t matter who’s in Khans corner as his chin is shot to bits and in any case since when did Khan ever listen to his trainer?

 

Khan looked like always did. Brawled Vargas similar to how he brawled with Peterson.

 

He could never hold a shot tbf. Getting decked by Willie Limond exposed his chin as being incredibly fragile very early on in his pro career.

What for the life of me I don't get is that Maidana somehow lost to him. Mental.

 

He performed very well against Devon Alexander.

Agree goosen didn't give great advice but when khan wasnt doing much round 7 onwards he was telling him you need to be more offensive and to sit down on punches if you wanna take him out

 

He was surprised they let the fight go on, apparently. I agree. I mean the ref did everything else Khan wanted him to....

 

That’s a long time ago though,Serge hit the nail on the head last night when he said Canelo finished him off for good.ironically you can say the same for Brook with Golovkin both Khan and Brook found out what happens jumping two weight classes.

 

Off topic:

I think Khan should consider retirement soon very strongly if he hasn't already. Too many brutal ko's. I actually think he could be a decent trainer. He made painful mistakes as a fighter and fought a variety of opponents. Might be able to help guys with hand speed.

 

Khan is only back for a pay cheque- which he hopes will be in his next fight. He is miles away from being even competitive at the highest level.

If he cannot entice Pac-Man, then he is all out of options. I think when the Pac-Man fight doesnt come off, he still avoids Brook.

Brook does chin him by the way. But Khan has a pathological hatred of Brook and will never ever share a ring with him, & is only using Brook's name to boost his own name.

 

Khan will get jobbed to Thurman or Porter next. He's a good tune-up for Thurman after a year off.
