    Dailt star:

Boxer Amir Khan has shunned Ricky Hatton's advice back at him and stated he ''doesn't need Hatton''.

Hatton wrote in his MEN article that Khan would be best fighting in England next, in favour of his fans. He also stated that he would like to promote Khan.

Khan hit back with ''If I wanted Hatton's advice i'd phone him. Im with Golden Boy now''.

sounds like a fake fued to billed interest for a fight, they can use the former friends angle,

thats the way I see it, it does'nt make sense for Khan to be so touching over that comment by Hatton.

Its under_the_wire trying to get ppl to hate on Khan again lol

    http://www.dailystar.co.uk/inthering/view/136045/Amir-Khan-I-can-be-king-without-Ricky-Hatton/

AMIR Khan has dismissed Ricky Hatton’s hopes of becoming his promoter.
The WBA light-welterweight champion took America by storm last weekend, demolishing Paulie Malignaggi in 11 rounds, but Hatton claims he could make him an even bigger star.
‘The Hitman’ said: “There will be a lot of talk of Amir fighting me, but I would much prefer to promote him.
“I am certain with my help he can become the big star that his talent deserves.”

But Amir is ready to give his friend the brush-off, telling him he will do it his way in his attempt to become the world’s No.1 fighter.

    Khan said:
“Ricky is a good friend, but I already have Golden Boy Promotions behind me and my own company Khan Promotions. If I needed some help, I would phone him for advice, but things are going well for me right now.”

The 23-year-old expects his next fight to take place in London or Manchester on July 31 and wants mandatory contender Marcos Maidana to be on the receiving end.

Khan says: “I would love to fight Maidana next. He can punch but is slow and can be hit. I would love to shut him up.
“I would like the next fight to be in England. I don’t want people to think I am deserting England.
“I have achieved my dream of fighting at Madison Square Garden and I want to box in America more, but I also want big fights at home.”
While Khan was feasting on Malignaggi at the Garden on Saturday, his main domestic rival Kevin Mitchell was hammered inside three rounds by Michael Katsidis at Upton Park.
Khan knows what it’s like to be on the receiving end, having been knocked out in 54 seconds by Breidis Prescott in September 2008.
Mitchell’s defeat ended his dreams of facing Khan, but the Bolton boxer believes he can bounce back.
He added: “We don’t really speak, but if I spoke to Kevin I would tell him to keep clear of distractions and stay in the gym.
“If he lets things away from boxing get to him, he isn’t going to achieve anything in life.
“My advice would be to have a couple of wins before a big fight to get his confidence back and he’ll be fine. He’s a good fighter.”

I know this might sound picky but when you use quotation marks it supposed to mean that the person actually said those words. Not said something similar or in your interpretation, actually said those words.

typical Hatton, piping up where it ain't nothing to do with him.

Khan has done a fine job of handpicking his fights, he doesn't need Hatton's admittedly expert opinion and experience on it.

    Taken from todays Daily Star:

When asked to comment D-MAC said GazOc's avatar "was creepy as ****! The guy on right looks a bit like Jim McDonnell, which I suppose makes it somewhat boxing related, but still, there's no room on this forum for such gay propaganda. Thanks, but no thanks."

When asked to reply GazOc stated: "D-MAC is entitled to his opinion, but he doesn't live in my body, doesn't have the big muscle-man urges that I have. The avatar is going to stay where it is, as a symbol of my love for Jim McDonnell. Sure I used to like the big-booty-lady avatar back in the day, but I'm a different person now and prefer my man-sucking-other-man's-nipple avatar. I know I told the boys I lost an avatar bet, but that was bull****, I just changed the thing voluntarily; thought it was about time to come out and show everybody who I really was. By the way, despite D-MAC's negative reaction, it hasn't changed my view of him as the best poster on ESB..........ever!"
