The deal is we get Garcia next . That was the condition imposed by the WBC to allow Morales to defend against Garcia. Ajose was ringside for the fight. See the following extract:

New York, NY (3/24/2012) – Earlier tonight, Danny Garcia won a unanimous decision over Erik Morales to pick up the vacant WBC junior welterweight title. Watching closely from ringside was the WBC’s undefeated mandatory challenger, Ajose Olusegun (30-0, 14KO’s). Olusegun, who is co-promoted by DiBella Entertainment and Gary Shaw Productions, has been waiting for his shot at the title for some time now and wants to make it crystal clear that the wait is over and he is next in line.
“I have waited for this opportunity for a lifetime, and I have done everything in my power to get a shot at a world championship,” said Olusegun. “I am the mandatory challenger and I have been for a while now. I am tired of waiting for my shot. Garcia says that he is a true champion and a warrior? Then prove it by fighting me.”
“Ajose should have fought for the WBC title tonight, but we are pleased that he will get the opportunity to win this coveted belt against Garcia. Pursuant to the WBC’s rules, the green belt will soon be around Ajose’s waist,” said co-promoter Lou DiBella.
“Ajose has honorably earned the right to challenge Garcia for the WBC junior welterweight title,” said Gary Shaw. “He’s been waiting patiently for his opportunity to show the world why he’s the best in the division. The time is now for Ajose to get his shot.”
Olusegun earned his mandatory position by winning a dominant 12-round decision over Ali Chebah back on September 30 of last year. The bout, which was shown live on SHOWTIME’s® ShoBox, saw Olusegun drop Chebah (35-1) twice, before going on to win by scores of 120-106, and 119-117 twice."

Lou Di Bella and Gary Shaw are on the case.

Khan has a good mentality and seems fan friendly in that he wants to fight the best.

I'd fully support Khan in beating Peterson, unifying another belt and then moving up. What better than to move up as the man at 140.

Too many fighters move weights when not have put to rest the debate in their current weight class. That includes top fighters like Williams, Martinez and Donaire.

i used to be a big khan fan, i was disappointed when he lost to prescott i know allot of people were happy at the loss:lol: but i thought his comeback from such a loss was quite amazing, beating guys like kotelnik, malinaggi, maidana, judah is no easy task especially from a fighter who was destined for british level and had an alleged glass jaw. but saying all this i think he's lost me as a fan, especially after the peterson fight, he didn't take the loss like a man and kept complaining he needs to sit down and watch the fight like he did with the prescott fight and look at all the glaring technical mistakes he's making, instead of blaming the officiating, its annoying as hell he compares his style of fighting to andre wards claiming he was fighting off the backfoot like ward was against froch.
