I'm a BIG fan of Amir as a boxer, he's extremely gifted, but he's been cherry-picking non-punchers whilst saying he wants to fight the best. Fight Bradley, Alexander, Maidana or Katsidis pipe down

 

Either that or he's on his best behavior in front of camera.

Alexander would knock him out, hence the fight will probably never happen anyway.

 

For me Alexander is overrated. He beat a poor Witter for me, and Urango is a solid champion but people get silly when they talk about him stopping a beast. Urango was coming off a war with Bailey in which he was dropped and hurt. It was a peach of a shot yes but people seem to hype him up a bit to much. Both he and Khan need to prove themselves. Bradley has proven himself in my eyes.

Just seen it on the general. Bradley is too respectful to talk trash: 'Just want everyone to know me and Khan respect each other'. He just don't feel right doing it- even on Twitter.

It's nothing new, mate. It's all an act and shitloads of fighters do it. The fact that you are talking about him right now means it's been a success. Bradley and Khan have just admitted that they are only pissing about on Twatter.

 

An undefeated 23 year old who is the unified champ with dominating and devastating wins over the likes of Witter and Urango is not overrated. Khan should relish the fact that he is blessed with competition like Maidana, Bradley and Alexander. He has a chance to make a genuine 140 legacy with them. Right there he has a brawler, all rounder and boxer so people could see him beat different styles. He also has the number 1 contender, WBO champ and WBC/IBF champ so he could eat up all the belts.

Him and Bradley have 147 aspirations. Whoever wins that Fab 4 showdown can leave the division unless someone goes on a tear up and establishes themself as a number 1 contender.

Also, why does Khan keep saying he'll fight Maidana. I understand he is the number 1 but he is clearly calling out the easier, more limited fighter who is basing his win on toughness and power. Khan should high jack Alexander or Bradley and start off with the bigger unification fight. If he beats either of them he could arguably establish himself as number 1. Even if he loses his WBA belt, he would fight for a belt and Maidana would fight for the vacant belt against the left over fighter. However it ends up, the belts would be unified. Maidana probably would skip his mandatory status if he knew he'd fight Alex or Brad for a belt anyway.

Bradleys let me down. I really warmed to him. He is a good fighter, comes in shape, is an all rounder and I thought was ready to take on all guys and now before he has even made it, he is giving up belts and talking about how the money has to be right. Stinks of JMM and Wright to me. I hope he doesn't waste 5 years of his career talking **** when had he taken a defining fight earlier (Alexander!) he could have raked in the money during that period.

 

I agree mate! It was always going to be the case whilst with Warren for Khan, however holding a strap now, he definitely needs to step up.
