Seriously what a drop dead idiot... can you imagine anyone off the street succesfully knocking out a world class boxer... I dont think ****** (despite all his talk of chins) has any idea what the level of elite athletes is...
That kind of weight is very do-able for a man of Khan's size. You'd have to be a gym rat (which Khan obviously is) to do it, but it's very possible. I'm about Khan's size in weight and do reps at 185.. which means I can max about a 225 - 230's. So it's totally possible for Khan. I'm benching today actually. Hoping to hit 195 lbs for a few reps today but we'll see how it goes. :thumbsup
Exactly! I mean seriously, what the ****. Do these guys lift pillows to find this unbelievable or what?
I think Mosley at his best go hit over 300 lbs as a max and he's also about Khan's size. I've heard Mosley was also a powerlifter in high school.
I wouldnt even consider it a lot...Hell 15 years ago in high school a lot of us on the basketball team were around 230 give or take 10 to 20 pounds. 265 is just not a lot considering Khan is a professional athlete... When I was 17 I could bench 230 and I weighed 155 lbs... Khan is a grown man...I wouldnt be surpised if he said he could lift 300... Now if he said he could lift 350 then I would be skeptical but 265...No Its not even twice is body weight...
No, Im talking about 5ft 10 140-150lb people... i have two friends around that build that can easily whack that out. You know, it's a very common build for asian men. I myself am 6ft and weigh 155-160. I don't seriously weight train but still bench 80 kg (3 sets of 10 reps). I don't know whether your joking or your just ridiculously ignorant Your ignorance is funny.... wouldn't expect anything less from a dim witted moron though.
 Try having that kind of wieght fall on your chest and I'm sure you'll change your opinion. Whatever you think of the benching feit itself... 265 lbs IS a lot of weight.
The one thing this thread proves is how many ESB-ers have never seen the inside of a gym. atschatschatsch How embarassing.
LOL at some of the comments Khan did excel in athletics when he was younger so it's not really that surprising. His body has changed...If you look at his uppper body before the Prescott fight- he was very muscular and had chicken legs
By your definition...180 lbs is a lot of weight... 180 lbs is not even my body weight but I would hate for it to fall on my chest... Hell I wouldnt want 100 lbs to "fall" on my chest... Let me correct myself...265 is a lot of weight...But I dont think it is a lot of weight to squat or bench press for that matter... Military press? That would be an insane amount of weight...To curl? Same thing... but bench press or squat no its not a lot. Its a very average weight... Do you see what I am saying?
