Khan in a GQ interview: I could bench

    No. It just proves there's a bunch of pseudo intellectuals attempting to appear knowledgeable about something they know **** all about. The majority of posts in this thread have been along the line of "People don't know what they're talking about of course he could do that he's a professional athlete" etc etc

    To bench as high an amount as 125 kg requires a large amount of muscle in the chest, shoulders and triceps even with a 0% body fat and small biceps; in terms of the muscle required to lift that weight it would equate to your arms being far bigger than 12 inches flexed.

    Amir Khan simple doesn't have the muscles to lift that weight. The size of his arms clearly indicates that.

    That figure seems realistic...and Khan isn't even close to Mosley in terms of weight and bone structure. **** outta here..

    Khan obviously is bigger "off-season" so 70kg athlete benchin 120kg is not so much.

    I don't get it either bro. I wasn't a massive dude in HS, but I was lean and strong for my size. I was putting up 250 my sophmore yr and I was only a 145 to 150 at the most. And there were guys stronger than me who were my size.
