His dad reminds me of Kirkpatrick in Dirty Work

    [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_vgb9HvsQQA[/ame]

I'll say I dont mind his dad so what he stirs the pot a little big deal he does t he trash talk for his son and relieves him of the pressure

it may back fire when a guy takes it out on Danny like Khan promised but until that day we can just see

As far as the rematch, I dont wanna see an imediate one but i wont say he shouldnt get one

I mean one fight doesnt mean a series is over imagine if you took a bunch of classic fight 1's and never made rematches out of them,,,if you just said one fight was enough to prove who was better

i mean in todays ppv era where we think one fight at the big stage is enough to close the book on 2 fighters we are wrong

Thats why im curious to see Bute Froch 2, Cotto Floyd 2, etc

I mean look what Johansson did to Patterson in fight 1 whoever thought that could get reversed

the rematch will happen if khan offers the same kind of money he did to peterson for their now failed rematch (which was $1.5mil i believe), now who's going to say no to that kind of offer, defo not the garcias, they'd defo take that offer because they know it will be another easy nights work/easy payday or will it...

With Golden Boy on their side they can get a pretty big pay check and take someone else on

Maybe try to lure Marquez in

I don't think he's expecting a rematch, it's only his people who have said about the rematch, but it hasn't come from his mouth directly.

Khan is in no position to offer anyone anything. He brings nothing to the table at this point. Garcia dictates the terms now not Glass Jawed Khan.

I wouldn't mind seeing a rematch - Khan could win if he stuck with the gameplan, but he could also get ko'ed again quite easily. I think both men will go their separate ways for now. Garcia is still young and has a lot to learn - Khan will need to rebuild his confidence as much as anything.

The loser doesn't offer a rematch, surely?

Isn't it the loser who asks for one?

Saying that if I was Garcia's dad I'd pursue it - it was a pretty big upset in many people's eyes, and plenty of Brits could be conned into believing Team Khan's ''lucky punch'' line.

It would sell over here. From where I'm sitting Garcia has plenty of options but not many of them are more lucrative than a Khan rematch in the UK.

If he does it again, which he probably will, he'll gain plenty of publicity on both sides of the pond as being the man who ended Amir Khan at the top level - if a fight with Kell Brook ever popped up he'd have ready made publicity here.

It would be a smart business decision, IMHO.

Can't beleive Khan fought that fight.

Dumbfounded and completely mind****ed over this one.

He had Garcia at the end of his jab for however long he wanted. Only a handful of potshotting fighters have been able to make me a fan, and Khna is one of them. Why he thinks he should be this brawler type is ****ingunreal.:rofl

As for the rematch.....so long as Garcia keeps winning....and I don't see anyone, save maybe Mathysse and maybe Maidaina, beating him right now at the wieght, I think we'll see these two back at it some time down the road.

    They're both crazy young. 24 or 25.

I think Khan needs to take some time off. Get with the RIGHT people, build those legs and that neck and come back at 147 vs some slower less powerful fighters. Maybe rematch Malinaggi. KO Hatton. Take some lower tiered fights and get his legs under him.

Props to Garcia though.....he landed the same L hook against the quicker and more polished Khan as he did vs the older, slower, and greatly declined Morales. Hella props.:good

Khan will come again, but needs to work and earn a rematch. He got koed in 4, it wasnt a big come from behind ko or like he said debatable decision. Khan can come again
