    Decisions go either way whether in the Am's or Pro's, you just got to get on with it...Im sure in all of his career he (amir) has walked away once thinking..."i lost that bout" when he got the decision.... I think this makes boxing and Amir look bad.

    let me know your thoughts

    Khan did get on with it and asked for a well deserved rematch but Peterson refused so in order to get the rematch he had to resort to other ways.

    If Peterson accepted the rematch offer of 1.2 mill then Khan wouldn't have gone through all this.

    He's Not a let down just over hyped cause of his big mouth, I can't believe the so called boxing experts here put him on that high pedestal after beating Judah, a fighter who has been shot for close to 10 years.

    Er, no. He wanted the fight to be ruled a No Contest and be given the belts back before any rematch. :patsch

    He resorted to being a childish *****.

    He wasn't robbed. Close fight. I scored it for Peterson.

    If Khan is really going to complain about point deductions he should also talk about the knockdown which wasn't really a knockdown.

    **** Khan.

    My thoughts are: You've never been an elite athlete. You have no idea how much dedication & hard work it takes to reach that level, so you have no idea what it feels like to be robbed in this way.

    I really, truly think you should

    STFU.

    No. Schaefer has said ruling it a NC and getting the belts back isn't a guarantee, but they just want a rematch ensured. That's what all of this pressure is about - the rematch.

    I had Khan defeating Peterson too but let's be honest, for what Khan claims to be, he underperfomed drastically. I expected as shutout, a stoppage even. What I got, was a way too competitive fight in which Khan was slightly better but not close as good as advertised.

    'The inconsistency is absolutely shocking and if this isn't home cooking, I don't know what is. This decision must be corrected. I hope it will be corrected. The WBA and IBF have an opportunity and obligation to do the right thing.'

    The preferred option for Schaefer is to see the result overturned, but if that outcome is not forthcoming, he wants to see Peterson honour his pledge for an immediate rematch.

    'We've been able to secure the Staples Centre in LA on May 19 - neutral ground for both fighters,' he said. 'We've made Team Peterson a seven-figure offer and are waiting to hear back from them. I'd be shocked if they don't offer a rematch.'

    It was a super close fight that could have gone either way until Khan pulled it out in the championship rounds ... but the point deductions, while not great, where not absolutely awful ones, and the scoring was RIGHT considering those point deductions. Khan is a huge let down, he has looked great maybe twice in his career, I can't believe the amount of belief people have in him. He is a slightly more versatile version of Judah: never going to be as dominant as you would think by his skills. It is fitting that Judah is his best win.

    What great fighter close to their prime has ever been knocked out in 1 round by someone like Prescott? (Pac nowhere near his prime young - he got much better as he filled out and actually learned how to box). This would be like Hearns having a knockout loss to Dicky Ecklund at welter - it just doesn't happen that way.
