He holds his gloves in the air like Manny? He bangs his gloves together also?:huh The fact that he's working with Pacquiao, Roach, & Ariza and "taking the same stuff that Manny's taking" has gone to his head. That's why he keeps talkin trash about being able to beat Mayweather, Berto, and others. This guy seems to think he's the next Manny Pacquiao. The way he took punishment in that fight, and had a busted up face at the end, I'd say he's off to a good start. What a lame. Almost got KTFO. If you have a big fight coming up you don't need to be running your mouth about how you can beat bigger names than the guy you're about to face. Just shows his misplaced focus. Khan you need to take about 6 months off. Be sure to STFU during the entire duration. Stop trying to project yourself as a mini Pacquiao you lame. Mold your own identity. :hat
Well said. He musn't let the hype get to his head, otherwise he can expect another Prescott-esque KTFO soon. Hopefully he's learnt his lessons from tonight's fight and is on an upward sloping curve to the next challenge.
Apparently he loves listening to a specially recorded song on his Ipod, which goes like this: Sometimes I dream That he is me You've got to see that's how I dream to be I dream I move, I dream I groove Like Pac If I could Be Like Pac Like Pac Oh, if I could Be Like Pac Be Like Pac, Be Like Pa-ac Again I try Just need to fly For just one day if I could Be that way I dream I move I dream I groove Like Pac If I could Be Like Pac I wanna be, I wanna be Like Pac Oh, if I could Be Like Pac
Roach teaches his fighters to use their feet as defense. Khan has terrible defense and not much head movement. He also has no inside game whatsoever. I mean getting hit with the same punch over and over again says to adjust, right?
Khan is at a similar level to Manny when he was 24, a good fighter but flawed and far from the finished article, sometimes people forget that.
If theres an active fighter you have to emulate what better fighter to emulate than the current undisputed #1 P4P fighter. Whats the problem?
