Sure, Khan was more popular than 3G. So yeah, he probably will be remembered more.

surely u shuld match prime for prime. it should be best ever 3G (ie versus Jacobs) against best ever khan (vs Maidana, or perhaps the safety first version a little later versus Devon).

I think GGG should retire. He'll surely be Tkod soon. Every brawler's chin gets cracked.

I think he needs to with up his style and attack more often when faced vs a much younger and quick opponent.

Perhaps the best ever version of GGG, or at least one of the best versions of him was probably against Lemieux. Many indicated that G was slowing down by the time he faced Jacobs. Many expected G to spark Jacobs out with his long knockout streak going into that bout out but for it to be a close decision caused many to think G may be on the slide. And going into G's next fight vs Canelo many were saying he was alreaday past his prime, due mainly to how competitive the fight with Jacobs was. So I don't think many G fans would point to the Jacobs fight as the best version of G or Prime G. It would probably be a few years back like vs Lemiuex or some of his other fights around that time.

As far as the best version of Khan, who knows, maybe vs Maidana, maybe vs Judah, maybe vs Malignaggi or maybe even the night he sparked that dude Salita out. Maybe even vs Peterson even though he didn't get the decision. Somewhere around that 2009-2012 timeframe though I think is probably Prime. Hell Khan looked prime in those early rounds vs Danny Garcia before he got caught with that hook out of nowhere.

Khan is removed from those days but how much has he really lost? His inactivity in recent years has arguably preserved him. Like yeah he was sparked out vs Canelo, but that only lasted 5 rounds and change, he didn't take the kind of punishment that G took vs Canelo over 24 rounds. He wasn't brutalized by Canelo like G was, it was just one punch boom and wakey wakey. G absorbed much more punishment vs Alvarez. And Khan is younger than G though he does have more rounds as a pro than G but it's comparable.

Prime for Prime it's hard to say, considering the weight difference and other factors, but as far as now, we'll have to revisit it in a months time after Khan fights Crawford, and then after we see G fight again.

I think that remains to be seen. Khan could make a statement in a few weeks that puts him clearly ahead if he even comes close to beating Crawford. As far as who has the edge now it's debatable. G has less losses and hasn't been knocked out 3 times like Khan has. G's never even been down. Khan has fought the tougher competition but G did take Canelo the distance twice in two close fights and beat Jacobs. Khan's win over Maidana may be about on par with G's win over Jacobs. Khan's body of work exceeds GGG, he was a bigger name in boxing for longer than G but right now GGG's a household name too.

yes it was perhaps lemm, the year before Jacobs, the best version of 3G was the first time he won a title in the ring.

    or jacobs.

Ouma, Macklin, Geale, Rubio, Murray, Lemieux are all Maidana level for their respective divisions. All have respectable wins under their belts, and all have humbling losses (just like Maidana).

Also, remember when Khan got knocked out in 30 seconds by a fighter worse than Maidana? Remember when Khan has been dropped and made to dance by fighters worse than Maidana?

I hate defending Golovkin (I'm not a fan), but your premise is insane. Stop

He's a better boxer. If Khan had an good chin, and better ring IQ he may be one of the best of his generation.

Khan makes bad choices, like throwing 6/7 punch combos in the pocket without moving his head, considering he has a glass chin that's always been a problem that for some reason has never changed. never changed. I refuse to believe with the quality of trainer he's worked with that this hasn't tried to be addressed, yet he still does it. Bad ring IQ and glas chin, stunted his potential.

I've noticed POTUS always seems to have some kind of unpopular opinion/s on this site which is usually just him talking a bunch of rubbish. Also he likes to change his avatar/profile picture a lot.

Hold on guys, as of five minutes ago I've actually just had a sudden realization.

K H A N ---> Was robbed against Lamont Peterson, he was dehydrated for the Prescott fight and Danny Garcia got lucky. Scrub away these fake, bizzare ''losses'' and the only man Khan has lost to is Canelo.

As we all know Canelo used steroids/peds to help him prepare for the khan fight as he was scared, Canelo could only beat Khan through use of Performance enhancing drugs. C A N E L O ______ cHeated. Therefore Khan is 37-0 and will destroy Crawford.

Crawford Has No Chance Of Beating Amir ''King'' Khan. Haters Will Say I'm Lying.

the only case really is Geale, but 3G faced a retiring Geale which is why most poeple disregard the win.
