If he ends up fighting Katsidis or Campbell then it's entirely possible. I don't think losing to Kats or Campbell at his age would be exposing him as a fraud or anything, though.

He has good boxing skills but his chin and heart are yet to be really tested so its a possibilty.

 

why on earth would you be seem to be happy that a top prospect might get knocked out ... these people are good for boxing and bring the masses to the sport,something it is seriously in need of.some people really need to check their brains in this place.

 

All very true, I didn't denote any real "emotion" from any of the posts. People don't hate the fighters, they just hate the radical fanatical fundamentalist zealot fans, and in turn want to see a fighter lose to shut their fans up.

 

i know what you mean,but the blatant hatred of some posters on here is incredulous!anyone who watches khan the boxer would not want him to ko'd,he is such a skilled fighter and very very exciting and i hope that he doesnt get ko'd because i want to see him fighting big fights,not for him but for boxing ... talents like lee,khan etc. are only good for boxing and with this you will get many fans who promote their own fighter.does this warrant blatant hatred,imo no.

its come to a sad state of affairs when people see a L on a fighters record that they are no longer substantiated as a contender ... ffs khan was an olympic silver medalist at 17 and took on a very live challenger in his last fight and is most certainly not fighting cans.

Khan is a much better fighter than Andy Lee was/is/will ever will be and will only be knocked out by geniuily good fighters.

andy was beaten fair enough and im not going to criticise amir khan because i like him alot,but to dismiss andy lee's skills because of this fight is ridiculous!
vera most certainly was not made for lee,in fact he was the complete opposite ... lee likes to fight at distance so he can work the jab and throw combinations ... vera didnt allow lee to this and was jumping on lee to close the gap and made it very uncomfortable for lee,he was well ahead on the scorecards and the fight should have went on ... we dont know what would have happened and tosay otherwise is only speculation.

2. I should say stopped by somebody was made for him.

3. He should have stopped Vera. Who was chinny and was open to be hit pretty easily. Lee should have stopped him 100%.

4. If a guy like Vera, can cut off the ring and close the distance against Lee then he is in a world of trouble with any B levels he may step up to that can pressure at all.

His chin was tested against Willie Limond and was found wanting.

His heart was tested in the same fight and was found to be considerable. He came back from the brink of being KO'd to stop his opponent in a tough scrap.

I'm not sure how far Khan will do, but someone with his talents who has courage can go very far in the sport, even with a questionable chin.
