I think MAB had it planned all along thus the cut in the fight he had previous. He had hoped that would open up and he got it intentionally in the first place. Barrera was just in for a final pay day off Khan's reputation.

You've out done yourself. That was the most ridiculous thing I've heard all week.

Marco Barrera is a very wealthy man, he came from a middle class background, and he owns like 15 apartments in Mexico. Not to mention all the money he gained whilst fighting at the top level of Boxing for the best part of two decades. He doesn't need a pay day.

Everyone needs one last pay day plus he wanted to say to his grandchildren that he had fought in the same ring as a genuine legendary fighter and icon of his time. MAB knows that in 2 years time it will be this fight that everyone will be talking to him about. The end of a legend and the birth of a GOD.

Khan is a magnet for hate!!!Guy can't do anything without getting it!If he fought Klitschko and beat him people would still say no klitschkos too big, too slow etc etc!!And it was an easy fight, whats he said wrong there? But he could have shown some respect towards Barrera, commenting on his greatness and that, he did a bit, but he didn't have to, not all boxers would have!

Yep. People just try and find a way to do the guy down instead of respecting his eternal greatness inside a boxing ring.

If anyone is ever going to employ this 'accidentally cut before the fourth=no contest rule' then this fight was a prime candidate. I understand why it wasn't called off, but please - let's be realistic, all things considered, Amir didn't look phenomenol.
