Alright, I think Khan is the first to stop him. In between 7-10. 'Vintage performance, proves all the critics wrong Jim' that kind of thing.
Yeah, go to agree with this analysis. I just can't look past Khan's fragility. He hasn't been tested since Presscott and Kotelnik is no mug, he broke Rees in the end and despite his limitations Rees is a tough little *******, it will only take a few of those shots to **** Khan up.
Who is the 3rd man in the ring??? I think that Khan can work his way to a late stoppage in 8 or 9 as long as he fights his own fight... if he gets drawn in.. which I don't think that Roach will allow him to.. he may get stopped himself..... I see heads bangin again.....:yep
I'm thinking this (not 100% sure though): Khan starts moving around the ring from the off, throwing shoeshine combos and getting out of the way before the more flat-flooted Kotelnik can land properly. Khan builds up an early lead through six rounds. However, a combination of tiredness, the uneducated footy crowd getting on his back for his safety first approach and Kotelnik's robotic relentlessness (and the knowledge that he knows he's behind) means that Khan stands and trades a lot more with Kotelnik in the second half of the fight. Khan still shoeshines, but Kotelnik starts to land the more telling blows (Khan may have already touched down by this point). Come round 10 the "expert" Sky team have Khan in a big lead, but he's given away a few of the recent rounds. In the end Khan walks into something big and gets sparked.....................Frank Warren cries PS: I agree with Kosaros about the two possible outcomes to this fight.
Khan to win via UD, Dont see Khan losing more than 3 rounds on points. Khan's workrate will NOT drop. Khan's footwork, speed, skills will be too much for slow footed Kotelnik.
Khan UD. I've resided to the fact that Khan's future fights wont be exciting. Just run around for a bit, get in and throw 5 or 6 slaps in the space of two seconds and then get the hell outta there. Don't think he has the punch variability or power to hurt Kotelnik
People think this is some type of joke fight where Khan is fighting for his first world title fight. People think Dr.Roach have not put Khan though hell in training for this fight. Khan's fittness trainer Alex says Khan trains harder than P4P No.1 Pacman. Make no mistake Khan will be in the best shape of his life for this fight.
So you think if Kotelnik invests to the body early (which I think he will), he will not deplete Khan's stamina at all?
I agree. 12 rounds of dancing is gonna tire him out, no doubt. He won't be perpetual motion throughout. I don't care what Dr Roach says.
In order for Kotelnik to land early to Khan's body he has to get close and close the range something which will be hard because Khan will be faster on his feet and in out of range. If he did start landing to the body of course it will have an effect but I think that will not be the case. Dr.Roach's team are modelling Khan's training of boxing and fitness like Manny, they are trying to turn Khan into an animal, a machine, and at 140 they might of unleashed the beast. I wont be surprised with Khan becomes the first person to stop him. Yet lets also see if Khan sticks to the gameplan, which think he will because if he gets careless than Kotelnik can also make him pay.
See for yourself, I think he looks faster and remember here he is using 14oz or 16oz gloves, on fight night he will be using 10oz gloves. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hH8iAMGoxOM
