Khan laughs off Kell Brook challenge

Discussion in 'World Boxing Forum' started by checklefthook, Dec 24, 2010.

  1. "Lol frank warren has offered me kell brook, ask him what I use to do to him in sparring"

This is taken from Amir Khan's twitter.
Looks as if he will not be facing Kell Brook next then.

Never was gonna and even Warren knew that. It's just an angle for them to hype Brook up. There's no way Warren could have guarenteed him more money than he'd make if he were to fight somebody like Ortiz or Judah at the O2 or in Vegas.

If this Brook can crack a bit, he'd have a decent shot of shattering Kon's glass jaw.

Brook doesn't bring anything to the table. Even if khan's team want this fight, brook isn't quite ready for someone of the calibre of khan. Just a publicity angle from warren for brook.

Michael Jennings was finding it pretty easy to hit Brook after a few rounds, I shudder to think what Khan would do to him.

    Brook needs to rematch Jennings.

Seeing as it's Christmas, I'm going to constitute you with a dignified answer. Brook has shown above average power at domestic level at 147lbs, though it's often been over-rated. He's never demonstrated his power at world or actually even top-European level yet, his best win is former WBO title challenger Michael Jennings on cuts, and he would be brutalized by Khan within 2 or 3 rounds.

He will deep-throat that lisp away in good time. Quite possibly the gayest voice I've ever heard in boxing, ever.

He's proven beyond Brook's level, that's the point he's making. Stop getting worked up about it.
