I did notice that Amir thanked everyone but Frank Warren after the fight.

Maybe its just me but ive always felt Warren never really gave a **** about Khan. Its just the way he talks about him. He never seemed to like him as much as Hatton.

well Khan was getting dropped and hurt by light punchers, warren knew what was to come..

He gives a **** about the money Khan can generate. He sees Khan as a cash cow - the way his career has been managed thus far is clearly all about making money rather than developing a good fighter on undercards, etc and building him slowly. He was plunged into his first pay per view event as a mere Commonwealth Champion. That is unheard of.

Pay per view fighters were the Tysons, Lennox Lewis, and prime Naseem Hamed - established World Champions and World Boxing stars.

Khan was a commonwealth champion - its a disgrace. Warren manages Khans career trading on his celebrity status with money as the main objective rather than developing a fighter as a prospect on undercards.

It's just talk, Khan won't be leaving Warren any time soon. If the contract is indeed at its end, then it will just simply be renewed. Khan needs careful management, he's an exciting fighter, but one that has noticeable frailties. If he wants a healthy career he'll need to avoid being pushed quickly. Warren's your man for that, ask Calzaghe

I'd disagree with that. Arum has proven he can do a lot with very little in the past- mini Chavez is the first glaring example that comes to mind. I think Golden Boy would want Khan to take the biggest tests out there to ensure the biggest money. The ball is in Khan's court if he wants to make it big in America- if that is his aim, he can't achieve it with Warren, IMO.:good

i'm pretty sure khan has a 3 year deal with warren although i don't know if one of warrens companies going "bankrupt" has any effect on the deal

the best thing for khan to do if he has the option is to sign with GBP, they are desparate for some young talent atm, they are cozy with HBO and they would do the best with a UK/US operation plus they rip off fighters the least although thats like being the tallest midget in the circus

one thing is for sure, if khan wants to get in the ring with hatton, he's got to leave warren

There is no way Warren will have Khan leaving him, after a world title shot, If the contract was due to expire Khan would have been made to sign another one stating that should he win the world title he will give Warren another 4/5 fights. It will all be talk.

He just gave Khan a WBA shot out of knowhere. If Khan leaves him then I'll side with Frank Warren. Frank Warren has made Amir Khan, without him and Roach, Khan would have been exposed and finished before European, perhaps even top British level. I don't like the PPV shows, but Frank has done the business for Khan here, no doubt about it.

I read an aritcle 2 days ago on the Independent site and they also said the Kotelnik fight was the last fight of the contract not only with Warren but also Sky.
