i think more like mid to late ko. but it could go the distance of maidana tries to cover up sometimes.
One thing i never got about khan, his hands are so fast and fluid, he has great footwork, but his head movement is stiff and generally sucks IMO You'd think freddie would have him working on it....
I gotta say it; everyone looks great in training. Hard to maintain your composure after someone like Maidana has just clocked you in the ribs and no matter what you do he's always 18inches in front of you.
same can be said for maidana. hard to keep coming when your getting hit with fast combos and hard single punches you dont see coming. dont ignore amir's fire power.
Fair point but Maidana has shown an iron will and a great chin; he's happy to take one to land one. This is the fight of his life and he knows it, he's coming to fight.
he will definatly bring it to amir. we will see if khan can handle the pressure. like you said maidana is always close throwing punches so its down to wether khan can keep composed and pick him off. for me maidanas only chance is that straight right, and i just dont see amir leaving his chin out for long enough.
Khan asset is the speed. I havent see much of the Power. His Ko most comes with accumulation of punches. Maidana has the Raw Power. I've seen the KO reel and he's Knocking out bigger guys. I dont think he can out box Amir. But I can see him deliver one punch to end the bout.
Kotelnik has like 13 KO's, Malignaggi has 5, Salita has like 16. This fight has the potential to be a statement maker or could possibly derail his entire career in one night, Khan has a chip on his shoulder and has balls I tip my hat to him win or lose.
yeah i cant see it being a 12 rounder. you would think maidana would catch amir at some point. but i cant see marcos getting past 9 rounds. amir is too quick and marcos too open!
