Should fight Prescott, the fight is a tune up, so prescott makes perfect sense as a revenge even if he hasn´t looked good lately. Good marketing and easy fight.

This guy is not on Khan's level, but maybe there's a little chance he'll do a prescott on khan.

Khan was going to fight someone with a pulse, but that guy also wanted too much money.

Is this a case of someone who hasn't heard or seen of McCloskey just slagging him off due to the fact they haven't heard of him?...

    Here's some info:

Basically, Mccloskey knew this would be his last chance to fight Khan, as after this he would face the Bradley/Alexander winner then move onto 147.

But yea, Mccloskey's team came to Khan, not the other way around. Understandably, the Englahd vs Ireland rivalry would make this thing sell VERY well in Britain, especially as Mccloskey is undefeated and is the European title holder.

Undefeated european champion. Do you think a peterson fight is much better than this?

Let's not get carried away here.

A Peterson fight IS better than this fight. Khan knows this, the fans know this and Peterson knows this.

Peterson is merely unwilling to give a fighter home crowd advantage AND a pay advantage, which I can understand to a certain extent.

Yes. Peterson is proven, McCloskey is not.

Peterson when the distance with Bradley and was still trying his best to win throughout.

Peterson drew with the #1 WBA ranked fighter, Ortiz.

I dont hes a much better fighter than Paul but i do agree hes more proven. However hes already had two big fights within a year. One he lost clearly and the other was a questionable draw. I can understand why some fighters are constantly being brought out for world title fights over and over ala William Joppy. Mccloskey has no great names on his resume but hes undefeated, talented and is the euro champ.I would have liked to see him beat a top ranked contender before getting his shot but its not a bad fight considering everything. People are calling him a tomato can and they have most likley never seen him fight.

    Overall Boxing Ability

    ...out of 10?
