Money from PPV, money from Sponsors, money from HBO, money from Gate.

And it's not exactly hard to believe when you consider how much Haye was making for his defenses.

If he made that much? then good luck to him, I don't grudge anyone earning a few quid, He had Sky's build up and a fight at a U.K time, so its quite possible he made that much, The fact that Saj said it make's me a bit wary.

 

They saved money by not paying Ariza

he git just over a mil for the maidana fight and i think around 750k for the malignaggi one

 

That's just the money from HBO.

I think he got £1m off them for the McCloskey fight, or something like that.

 

he would've got close to a million from HBO alone, but not a full million pounds, not a chance vs mccloskey. add in all the other revenue streams and its not unforeseeable. why mention it though? saj is a wanker, stuff like that will further alienate some fans

 

This is how you lose fans. Boasting about making £2 million for a fight that was stopped by a papercut to the forehead when the average punter had to pay £15 on Primetime or upwards of £40 for a ticket in the current financial climate. Overt displays of wealth are a ****'s trick.
