amir khan has a below average chin, if he was hurt he would go down, fact that he didn't and still had the legs to run showed he wasn't as hurt as many think.
when your legs go like that, you are hurt, wether you go down or not. credit to him for staying up, but he WAS hurt. its not unusual for a losing fighter to say he wasn't hurt before a stoppage, but the WINNING fighter should be playing up on it non-stop that he was able to survive when no-one thought he could.
Relentless, go watch the round again and comeback to me. Thanks. Look out for the last 6 seconds...when Khan is stumbling back in to the ropes...and then doing a dance to his corner.
Then take my word for it, we don't disagree often, Khan wasn't just hurt...he was out on his feet for those last 10 seconds.
Roach admitted that Khan was in such bad shape in the corner he was going to pull him out if he didn't answer his questions correctly
That picture shows the marks typical of a fight. NOthing especial there. That said, I dont considered Khan a star. Decent fighter, at the most.
Yeah he was hurt for sure but I think he was ''there'' when he got cought and after that. He moved and kept defencing but definetly he was hurt badly and one punch could end it in round 10 but nothing happened and Amir kept his guard high and took those bombs like man so.. nothing to complain.. And he also shook Maidana once in that round after that right hook which wobbled Amir. = Amir was hurt and in trouble but he was there and knew what he was doing(move and keep your guard high). And that's the reason why he survived! We've seen so many guys who just falls to the robes and gets punished to the TKO. Amir wasn't one of them. He had still legs with to keep on moving. That's my opinion!!
