This. Khan desperately needs a decent PR manager. He doesn't realise it, but it is seriously damaging his image and future worth as a sports star.

Even his ardent fans find it hard to support the antics that surround him:

- constantly making stupid comments (even if he was just being honest when saying them)
- sex texts
- poor spelling and grammar in twitter messages (gives the impression he is stupid)
- really really poor TV interview answers - lack charm (he needs MORE media training and PR coaching)

On this occassion what happened was not his fault - some of his fans are ******s. The fact they brandish themselves as "Khan's army" just makes it even worse! Khan needs to use the occassion to apologise and ask fans to be more disciplined and better representatives for the sport of boxing. This as you say would help him redeem some class.

MEDIA: please flag this stuff about khan - his managers will only hire a PR guy when the media and general public start slating him.

it's a real shame that the kid has poor managers around him. :-(

 

The journalist was talking about the general American populus being a bit Anti-Paki and how concerned about the type of hostile attitude at a weigh-in they displayed already not being conducive to their already shitty image (which Im not trying to agree with or say its their fault).

Support you're countrymen in a civil and humble manner. Always leaves a great impression. What we saw was a bunch of ******ed football hooligans. Save that **** for the UK and football.

Khan pushes him and everyone in Khan's army freaked the **** out. Crazy **** sorting of the ****storm ensues. They finally seperate crews. Amir's people start a chant. Some fat ***** says Paulie has no fans and is gonna get KO'd in his hometown. DiBella shouts at Khan's people to go back to England. Storms out of there pissed as ****.
