I just can't think of anyone Khan has faced to give an indication he would have any kind of success against a stylistic master like Floyd. He looked okay against Malignaggi, who has no power. He looked good against Barrera, who is a bit small for him but still had the power to knock him back at times.

He should be fighting a few more middle of the road guys, Maidaina, Ortiz, top ten types before anyone says he's ready for Floyd without headgear and 16 oz gloves. There's just a lot of difference at the pro level in the experience no matter how good he looks in sparring.

I don't think he is quite as talented as guys who did not need experience to blow guys away with their physical gifts (jones over Toney, for example)

We know he has a question mark on his chin, but moving up in weight has been a good thing.

It depends. If the fight happens after 2 years, when Fraud is 35, then Khan might sneak in.

Age at a certain point, decreases natural skills exponentially. I still have to see a fighter past 35 who is as fast as he was at 30. They become wiser though and use that to compensate.

They become less mobile so they tend to pick their spot. Their punch output decreases and they make sure that every punch counts.

Who knows. Plus Mayweather's inactivity would eventually catch up with him. This is boxing and anything can happen. It is not like Mayweather is unhittable. Even JMM hit him flush but obviously with no effect because JMM has a 130 pounder power.

Nothing at this point. He is faster than Floyd but so what floyd can over come that. And he is faster than floyd now at 140 but a jump up to 147 will slow him down. He aint outboxing him and he isnt beating floyd on the inside.

I think in a few years time with his speed and jab and improving defense then of course he can beat floyd when floyd has aged more, but in 2011, no way.
