It would be a fun fight and give Corley one last chance on the big stage. I'd much prefer it over McCloskey, which is why we will probably get Mc. Corley could potentially give Khan some serious trouble.
Looks set to be a confidence builder for Khan, good fight from his point of view, low risk, at least McCloskey might get another shot at Khan after the stupid stoppage in the first fight. Hard to give McCloskey much chance to win this one though unless Khan doesn't learn his lesson and comes in complacent, looking past his opponent again etc. but with his new trainer this won't likely happen I reckon, although you never know with Khan. I guess there is always a chance McCloskey might land a punch in the right place, maybe Khan will be effected by his latest KO loss, but this looks unlikely and if it is the case, will probably surface against a bigger puncher.
**** bout IMO. They may be looking at it as a confidence builder, but no one else remember Khan having trouble landing on McCloskey? Khan could look bad in this one.
Thats partially it. Maidana can certainly hit hartd and he could put Khan away. If you get hit enough you tend to go down.
Strange fight. Khan dominated last time, but looked poor because of McCloskey's spoiling (read: total lack of punching, 100% concentration on not getting involved). The only way this serves any purpose is if McCloskey actually comes to win this time, and Khan get's the opportunity to look good. Otherwise, it's a dull fight, that will make Khan look amateurish again. Earlier a potential fight was being listed as with another hard-hitting Argentian, and now at the other end of the scale a defensive spoiler. Why can't he fight someone somewhere inbetween those two extremes. One is pointlessly risky, and the other is bound to make Khan look worse than he is.
