Khan Morales

I dont like this fight, it should have been bradley, I like khan but im rooting for morales big time.

 

I'm hoping Morales gets cut up in September so they give the fight to the next rightful opponent, which is the Guerrero/Maidana winner. Morales lost to Maidana, it'd be a farce if he's next.

 

If Maidana wins he deserves a 2nd shot

 

Can't make a fight if one guy isn't interested.

 

Nothing like a boxer who makes their legacy off old shot fighters.

 

stylisticaly morales is perfect for khan at this point in eriks career, not realliy intrested in this fight at all.

If this is true, then they could be saving Guerrero (in the expectation he beats Maidana), to pass off as Floyd;s next tuneup.

 

As someone else said here, If Maidana beats Guerrero he deserves a second shot at Khan. Khan Vs Bradley should be made instead though.

The Morales fight shouldn't even be mentioned, how are they going to sell it?, Morales really beat Maidana but got robbed? ( i thought Maidana deserved the win in a closer fight than i expected).

 

**** fight. If Bradley is not available he might as well just move up to WW. There is no point in giving Maidana a rematch from Goldenboy's perspective. High risk with little to no reward. He brings nothing to the table.

I think Golden boy like Maidana, they always get good fights from him.

 

That might be the case but why would they expose their future cash cow (Kahn) to unnecessary risk, especially when he doesn't really gain anything substantial from a rematch.

Personally I would love to see it but its not going to happen.

 

You are probably right but if Maidana beat Guerrero they could sell the rematch based on the first fight last year. I understand its high risk and i agree that its doubtful Golden Boy would make the fight but i think its the most entertaining fight out there.

Lets hope they can still make Khan vs Bradley, wont be as entertaining as a Maidana rematch but it would be a massive unification fight.
