Khan/Murrey? pleeeese not yet

Yep, it's better to do things the traditional way. Better than WBU/inter-alphabet route. Fighting for the British and Euro titles also gives you challenging opponents rather than being fed cans.

 

Colin Lynes would box Amir's ears off - Lynes is pretty decent in every department without excelling at any in particluar.

it would certainly be an achievent for him if he lost on points against lynes, but in all honesty we both know it would end in a brutal fashion with khan being rushed off on an ambulance

 

Exactly, better to go the traditional route of British, EBU then WBC. Why waste sanctioning fees for all these WBU/WBO, interalphabetty title fights?

 

At least people actually remember British champions - nobody gives a **** about inter-alphabetty or Commonwealth champions.

The sanctioning fees are lower for the WBO than either WBC or WBA - there was a piece on s e c o n d s o u t about it a couple of months back.

 

But that'd only be one of the reasons why Warren prefers the WBO. Warren fighters with a WBO belt very rarely have mandatories and they can defend against a nobody who miraculously gets ranked in the WBO top 15 once the fight is announced.

 

Well the mickey mouse belts can't really get away with charging large sanctioning fees.

 

There is no way in hell Warren will let his little cash cow fight Murray. No fookin way. He'd rather throw his wallet down the drain. Why? Because he knows that Khan is going to lose as soon as he fights a top level fighter.

I'd like to see them both meet as they are very well matched. Khan's whiskers would let him down ultimately against Murray imo.

Murray stands a slightly better chance of winning a world title and only if he improves drastically.

thats exactly the attitude which is damaging british boxing - thinking that an L will ruin someones career, when it could actually improve a fighters chances of making it

 

I'd like to see Khan go the modern route. Maybe even both could get ranked by the WBO, that would be ideal.

Naz was good enough - Khan ain't.

If he stepped in the ring with Pac or someone like that he would be ruined in a brutal KO.

Remeber how Fernardo Vargas after 20 fights at 20 years old stepped into the ring with Felix Trinidad and got a brutal beating - I believe that damaged Vargas in the long run - a pup thrown in with a experienced champion of steel too soon.

 

Khan is going to Warrens new Hamed/ Hatton / Calzaghe Golden Goose.

Get the WBU / WBO World Title.

Pack out arena's with loads of defences.

Khan is going to make 15 defences of the WBO title like Hamed.

Only problem is if he has ambtions of going after the top titles with top fighters he is going to get exposed.

I love to see Khan get exposed.

He got the ego of a superstar.

But he aint as good as he considers what he is entitled to be - like the next Floyd Mayweather - Mayweather went straight for the WBC title - Khan is ****ing about fighting the Micahel Gomez's for Commonwealth honours.

Khan has the ego and pride of a super star.

He has the flaws of inexperience and he is a unlikeable ego driven young man its really important for him to be the best - immense pride - hug ego.

Khan didnt even consider the possibilty he might not even win gold even if he had fought at the 2008 Olympics

he is that ego mad and prideful and conceited - ahe considered it his entitlement to win the gold -because he is the best of course

Khan is the classic example of someone who achieves alot

but so what I still aint pleased for you or like you - cos your a **** -

 

i was thinking the same thing about them fighting now as a bad thing. But its true the can fight later on if they both make it, also i want to see can tested agaisnt someone decent. Plus we get to see how good murray really is.
