Khans realistic chance to become world class after such a devastating defeat is to hire one of the top American trainers, with legend Emmanuel Steward being my recommendation to bring the best out of Khan. :rasta

And those who criticised me when I said Prince Naseem was in a totally different league to what Khan will ever be, now have their answers thanks to 'John' Prescott:nut Hahaha

Not sure Steward is the man, though I am a big fan of his.

He makes fighters 'cautious' rather than 'purely defensive' - in that they work behind a solid jab but can be prone to eating a bit.

Khan needs to develop a style where he takes as little punishment as possible and doesn't get drawn into a war on the inside.

Now - the obvious candidates are the Mayweathers, but all their fighters are capable of adapting to the way an opponent sets their stall out and can fight effectively on the inside, something which Amir cannot do for toffee.

Closer to home, you may suggest Brendan Ingle - but I am not so sure the whole hype thing, flunkies and arrogance will sit well, nor will his association with Frank Warren. Khan doesn't possess the reflexes that make Ingle fighters so awkward in the way that Naz had, and to a lesser extent Ryan Rhodes, Johnny Nelson and Junior Witter.

To be honest, I don't have a clue where he goes from here.

Retirement beckons, he must have a few million in the bank so why bother being exposed again. Against the big boys he will be given a worse beating.

Nope, Steward is the wrong kind of trainer for Amir. He needs a really good defensive trainer, such as Roger or Floyd Sr.

He's basically made all the money he can...on the back of a silver medal as a teenager.

He's got very little punch resistance.... so he needs to call it quits.... one more fightr perhaps to milk it that little further....because there would be some interest in a comeback fight against a half-decent domestic opponent.... win, lose or draw.....he should quit after that.....and be thankful he's made the money he has....despite being chinny as f***

The best trainers in the world cannot add muscle to Amir Khan's chin, and therefore that will prevent him from ever reaching world class. He should stick to domestic and european level, he has all the skills to be an A level fighter, only his chin makes that all void. Shame.
