    kristjansen wbo number 2 apologises for catching the seasonal flu and apologises that he cannot fight against englishman khan that he was due to box on febuary 2nd.

    betty palle says he has upset belly/diareah/vomiting and has no energy.

    he cannot train and cannot spar and hopes he can postpone the fight until he is well again

    when i first started on esb , never had that problem.

    esb british section was started by el gringo /animal and myself.

    only in 2002 did we get some new blood.

    I can't see Thaxton taking the fight at 4 weeks notice unless he is paid big money. He said he enjoyed his Xmas. Warren will probably see that as a good chance to get him.

    Im dreading the announcment of WBU champion Lee McCalister facing him the Khan haters will have a field day on that one. Rightly so hes a **** opponent but Khan will not say its a world title and niether will ITV.


    I would try and get Edner Cherry over from the states. He has got a bit of a name in the States and a fairly decent record. Not heavyhanded but certainly not feather fisted he will test Khans chin without potentially puting him to sleep. Probably a better opponent than Khan and in his last 2 fights he has only list to Paulie Malignaggi and Jose Santa Cruz (who should have scored a decision over Casamayor). He has never been KO so would be a very good sign if Khan was able to stop him. Ranked above Khan by the WBA and WBC.

    Yeah! I think you're right! He'll probably make Thaxton an offer he won't be able to refuse! This would be classic Warren behaviour; this is why he is "the best manager in the business!"

    Cannot see Thaxton not selling his skin for a lot of money, to be honest. We'll see.

    Thaxton, if offered, will take the fight imo. His ship sailed away the other day, its just popped back into port. Expecta hennessy press release sometime within the next couple of hours!
