    I'm glad.

Cancel the show, put it back a month and unify with Thaxton.

    Please, please fight Thaxton.

This fight has been hanging for ages now, and it needs to happen if Khan wants to prove that he really is the best in his weightclass in the country.

Khans next opponent will be someone called "Mr Feather Fists". He has a record of 20 wins and 2 KO victories.:D

I have got your number Mr Warren.:hi:

BILLY GRAHAM said that what I know about tactics can be written on the back of a stamp.

He forgets I am a manager of fighters as well as a promoter.

I won’t bother to list the fighters I’ve managed and promoted to British, Commonwealth, European and world titles, as this column isn’t long enough.

What I do know is Matt Macklin has just dumped Graham as his trainer.

But that’s no surprise as Macklin was lucky to escape serious injury by not being retired following a brutal fight against light-middleweight Jamie Moore.

It was a division Macklin should never have been allowed to fight in as, by then, he was a natural middleweight but was badly advised by Graham to take the fight.

Macklin came into the sport with great potential. Let’s hope he can get his career back on track.

And I couldn’t have done worse than Graham during Ricky Hatton’s ill-fated attempt to dethrone Floyd Mayweather, where Plan A looked decidedly wrong and Plan B non-existent.

But then when part of your regime involves propping up the bar with your fighter, you wonder.

Perhaps it was part of an unknown master-plan by a tactical genius but more likely, the lifestyle made the difference and the better fighter won.

if warren beleived this why did he allow his cash cow to fight 40 fights under his promotional banner with a trainer he beleived was useless ?

Because useless as he was, he was good enough at helping Ricky implement the master-plan designed by Warren himself for each fight. Warren was simply saving money by keeping Graham on the books, so that he could pay Ricky more for each fight!:deal

Apparently Khan has now been offered £400,000 to fight Thaxton on his home territory (Bolton Arena) April 5th according to The Telegraph website.

i dont even beleive the £125k is without loads of clauses.

£400k seems beyond belief for what is basically a domestic match up between an old vet and a young wannabee unless itv have stumped up the whole cost, which they will not have.
