Are you basing that on just last night? where an fighter who did not come forward and was happy just to make Khan miss.

Lets look at the facts Khan last two fights vs Paulie, Maidana Khan scored a punch accuracy 40% 41% that dont sound like wild flurries and missing.

Sure their is a balance problem coming forwards at times, something again needs to keep working on.

Yes, I based my long-held opinions on a future event.

Let's be honest Paulie and Maidana have a **** defence.

I was disappointed with Khan's jab last night, I really thought he'd improved it under Roach but last night it was sloppy and amateurish.

Hopefully Amir works on his technical flaws with Roach and irons them out.

Khan tried to work the jab in the first round, to his credit Paul slipped it well, after that Khan was not using it much.

Thing i was disappointed was Khan did not use his feints much also, too readable and tense.

Still gutted from last night in the way it folded out seeing as there were some greats fights on HBO and Showtime!

    Paul just didn't fight, unfortunately.

How was it, Darni? Any fights break out after the fight?

What disappoints me is how Khan looked good against PM and Maidana but looked sloppy against McCloskey.

To me he did. He was doing okay until he caught that haymaker from Maidana. He survived that by going on his bike and came back strong in the last round. I remember a lot of folks saying that once Maidana connects, he'll go down and out. Didn't happen. Looks pretty good to me .

He was blitzing Maidana for the first 6, then lost the 7th but came back to win the 8th and 9th, then got caught big time in 10th and hung on, he then ran the last 2 rounds but arguably won the 12th.

Overall, imo he looked good apart from the 4 rounds he lost, no?
