Khans only immediate opposition would have to be Maidana, Bradley, Marquez or Rios. Anyone else would be a complete waste of time

no problem with khan holding out, waiting for a huge fight if pac v floyd doesn't come off. brook is a more than decent contingency.

typical of the op to criticize boxers for taking or not taking fights (think his canelo thread just the other day) depending on what best suits his blatant agenda, while ignoring the fact that it's his hero upon whom everybody is waiting.

 

if khan wanted to face brook regardless of brook having a match vs dan. the match would be made by now.

Mate khan if he had a choice he wouldn't face a orthodox fighter (apart from mayweather) for the rest of his career

 

Khan's in a tough place - just awkward timing right now. All the dance partners are tied up.

Best case scenario for him is that Mayweather signs to fight Cotto - thereby opening up an avenue for a Pacquiao fight in June. Possibly in wembley.

If he gets by that he'll be guaranteed for mayweather and potentially can be the guy who defeats both.

However there is no way pac doesn't brutalize him - he might be smart to duck that fight. Mayweather is easier for him. He's said it himself.

 

Khan should stop chasing Floyd Mayweather, simple as that. Mayweather doesn't need the fight and it's clear that Khan's speed would cause Floyd major problems, which Money knows. IF Khan somehow got the fight and won, then true to form most haters would simply belittle the win and blame the loss on Floyds age anyway.

Khan should be looking at Thurman IMO. Bringing a loss to an unblemished record such as Thurman's would provide major kudos for Khan. Yes it's a risky fight for Khan due to the combo of his chin and Thurman's punching power but I would PPV it for sure.

 

Not really he has options outside May and Pac. He can fight Bradley or Maidana 2, even Diego Chaves/Rios. If Garcia is ready for 147 the rematch in June or Thurman.

I still don't think May-Pac will happen in May so depending on who Floyd chooses Khan can get that big fight in May still.

And for all those asking Khan to stop chasing Floyd, would you if you were in his position? He was so close to the floyd fight last year and he's already agreed to fighting Pacquiao because his team invited Khan to the London Gym where Pacquiao was to discuss a potential fight if Floyd doesn't want it.

 

All Khan has to offer Floyd is speed.

And they'd be right that Khan only wins because of Floyd's age. A prime Floyd dominates Khan.

 

I already told you what else Khan brings so stop ignoring it. But I agree prime Floyd beats this Khan, but we don't know what a prime Khan looks like yet.
