Fair enough, there weren't a bucket load of people picking Zab to win, but a very notable amount recognized him as a dangerous opponent, and if Khan pulled an impressive win over him, he would deserve a bit of credit.

Well, Khan did exactly that.

A shame not everyone is willing to give him props like they said they would.

It's a decent win, there's no denying that.

But the Khan fan's were blowing it up like it's something ****ing mahoosive!

 

Well, Tyszu beat a better version more clearly a long time ago. So, yeah, Khan beat him, but so did Mayweather, Cotto, Baldomir (FFS!) Cory Spinks and Joshua Clottey. It's a GOOD win, but not amazing. Khan's win over Maidana is still his best.

 

Other than Go Getta/Darni, I don't remember any Khan fan treating the win to be more than it was. At most, they say it's enough for Khan's resume to finally match or slightly exceed Bradley's due his [Bradley's] inactivity.

 

i think khan beating judah was a pretty good win especially when he looked so **** against paul mccloskey, its not like khan gave judah any time to get comfortable in the ring he was chipping away at him from the opening bell.

Nah' a guy who work's at the same place as me is a massive Khan fan, and he said (i'll quote his exact word's)...

"Did you see how quickly Amir got Judah out of there? Not even Floyd Mayweather got him out of there that quick"

I instantly thought... Floyd didn't even get him out of there did he? Wasn't it a 12round UD after the brawl.

Also, The Mayweather v Judah fight was in 2006 FFSatsch

So yeah, there was one other person (i know of other than Laz and Darni) who hyped it up big time

You'll always have a people like that in any fan-group. I was referring more specifically to ESB; a place where people know better than the casuals. I mean, my workmate thinks Tyson Fury's the next Lennox Lewis after watching his last fight . It'll be a bit unfair for me to then say "These Fury fans, man. They're overhyping him ridiculously atsch", because I know he, and others likes him, are too misinformed and insignificant for me to take their opinions seriously.

But when people like Darni/Go Getta - who spend a good amount of their time on a boxing forum - begin comparing Khan to people like Floyd, then yes, it's a cause for concern .
