Khan not fighting Prescott

The only incentive Khan has for rematching Prescott is when he inevitably beats him - and he would beat the absolute **** out of him at this stage - he could then say he's beaten every man he's ever faced to date.

Prescott makes far more sense from a legacy and $$ standpoint. Khan's afraid, no one cares to see him vs Mccloskey, pointless fight.

you dont know **** about boxing, mccloskey makes more money, mcloskey has an entire army of supporters coming to the uk for the fight hatton style, he is the number 10th ranked light welterweight by ring magazine, undefeated, where in prescot ranked? do you know who kevin mitchell is? look him up he schooled presscot and he isnt even a european level fighter.

anyone who wnats to see presscot vs khan is a khan nuthugger who cares about their baby avenging a victory or just plain flat out likes boring fights, i can see khan doing the exact same thing super featherweight mitchell doing and hitting and moving to a boring ud, why would anyone wnat to see that?

 

Prescott didn't quite have the advantage of a promotional machine that, in six months time, parlayed a 30-second KO loss into a match with wildy famous but horribly declined Marco Antonio Barrera.

 

Kevin Mitchell has never lost to anyone from Europe. His only loss is to Michael Katsidis. He has 31 wins with 23 KOs and couldn't get rid of Prescott. Vasquez just won the lightweight title. Prescott's losses aren't to slouches. And maybe McCloskey draws fans from his little region, but globally, many more people know who Breidis Prescott is, and many more people would buy that fight than McCloskey. Me, for example. I'm not paying to see Khan-McCloskey, but I would pay to see the Prescott rematch.
Anyone preferring Kahn-McCloskey is the real Kahn nuthugger, who just wants their guy to keep winning and steer clear of the man that damaged him.

Manny Paquiao should rematch Rustico Torrecampo and Medgoen Singsurat based on this absurd logic.

 

It is no doubt a bad very bad loss for Khan. However enless Prescott becomes a world class boxer. I don't see the point of a rematch. It makes less sense than Cotto/Margarito II.

 

Anyone can play this game. For example, one could say something like this:

yes he was but he has come a long way since then, what about vasquez? or what about presscot since then?

 

What had Prescott done before he KO'd Khan? Who had ever heard of him then? Who was the attraction then? Try as you may, you'll never erase the stigma attached to that loss until you go back and beat the guy.
