Khan not fighting Prescott

Its easy to see both sides of this issue. Personally, I'm not terribly interested in a rematch until Prescott does more. But, I don't have a problem with Khan facing Prescott just as long as he doesn't face Prescott instead of top fighters. I guess this upcoming fight would have been a perfect time for the rematch, it was in between big fights and there is clearly interest in it but this fight could also be made after Khan-Bradley. In the meantime Prescott needs to do more to stir up more interest and demand for a rematch.

 

when all is said and done with kahn's career ppl will say he was KTFO in 1 round by prescott and never avenged his loss.

if prescott is so easy to beat, then it's a no brainer for kahn to go ahead and face him to avenge this loss.

kahn or his ppl think prescott has a chance to KTFO him again, and they don't think it's worth the risk.

 

I don't think beating Prescott 10 more times is going to erase that loss. It happened and it can't be erased.

Read more closely before posting. I hate having to repeat myself. But for the comprehension challenged like Bogart. The stigma can be erased. Of course the loss can't be. But (and I'll type slowly) the stigma of the loss can be erased.

 

Pac was already a world champion when he got beat by Singsurat you idiot. He got beat because just like Amir he was drained and weak. If that overhand right that Maidana landed on Khan happened when he was at 135 (weight-drained) he'd be in a coma for days.... And if that same punch that Prescott landed on Amir happened at 140, Khan would've survive no doubt....

 

Fighting Prescott is pointless when Khan has just beaten a bigger, better, harder-punching version in Maidana.

 

You just keep telling yourself that, and keep praying Khan never fights Prescott again. Because we know the real reason Khan fans don't want it to happen.
They go so far as to compare Khan to Pac. Pac is now fighting 7 full weight classes above the loss you're talking about. Khan is fighting 5 total pounds above his loss.

Prescott's people were trying to make a 2nd fight here recently and were even willing to take short money. We see how it turned out.

 

Lordy.... Are you ****ing kidding me? I would love Khan to fight Prescott NOW but for what? To avenge his loss? That's the worst thinking ever. As a fighter, you go forward towards greater things and unifying the division is one of them. Besides its just a ****ing waste of time avenging your loss when the fighter itself has done nothing to pad your legacy. Had Prescott kept winning there's no doubt Khan would've fought him already but because he's an awful fighter who fought BUMS and got lucky against Khan he lost to two mediocre fighter. Tell me dumbnerd if you are Khan, would you really entertain a 2nd fight when he's done absolutely nothing to warrant a rematch? atsch

 

Khan's going to fight Prescott after Bradley.

 

Khan should have made this fight instead of the one against McCloskey. Every now and again a boxer can have a fight where he is the clear favourite. This is like the one Vs McCloskey, and he is accepted for it, although still blasted for not having a valid reason to have faught this one over the bigger ones. A fight against Prescott could give him personal satisfaction, would still be accepted by everyone and he would at least have a legitmate reason.

 

YOu keep calling a world champion mediocre.
He lost to a guy that's 31-1 who's only loss is to Katsidis. He hasn't fought since.
His other loss is to a guy that just won a world championship.

So we have two world champions that Breidis Prescott has faced. Amir Kahn and Miguel Vasquez. One guy beat him, and the other got knocked out by him in 30 seconds.

And you can come on this board, and with a straight face say the guy that beat him was mediocre, while the guy that got embarrassed by him is too good to have to fight him again.

Do yourself a favor and just STFU!!!
