I believe that Khan moving to 147 was long due and that he looks much more comfortable at this higher weight and his size frame seems perfect match for this weight too..

Now Virgil has not made too many adjustment style wise I mean ofcousre some things have been changed and improved but mainly the real improvements Virgil has made with Khan are mental.

Khan's outlook to fights now are purely geared towards winning on the scorecards a points system, if the KO comes then it comes don't go looking for it and put yourself in danger. It's back to being what Khan does best which is boxing.

From his amateur days Khan has been really hard to outbox or outpoint he uses his jab his speed his style to outland and outpoint you, now ofcousre he has improved this over time and Virgil his refining this even more...

I just feel Khan in this mind set will be very hard to outpoint and outbox for any fighter, and also his chin will hold up better at 147 but always a chance of him getting KO but he knows this too..

Over the distance I would pick Khan to win a decision over ANY fighter at 147...

The biggest change is Virgil Hunter, at last Khan is being taught defence, footwork and calming the f*ck down. Two, three punch combinations and stop taking stupid risks. He wasn't wasting energy nervously bouncing around last night. He is definitely improving under Hunter more so than he ever could under Freddie Roach. Look at Roach's fighters, he trains them how he himself fought with zero bloody defence.

I never liked him at 135 , he has a big frame and he just looked too drained.

Also if you notice it was always his legs that went , a sure sign his body wasnt right.

Much happier at 147 , he hammers Thurman , Brook, Bradley.

Yes definitely these improvements have been made, plus you kept hearing Khan saying I keep my feet under me, which means keep his balance, the right stance, and not running in and throwing shots off balance..

No I feel his power is ok.. Alexander had respect for it and was one of the reasons why he was not fully jumping in.. Khan has good pop at 147..

Yeah he never suited being a Lightweight. Thought he looked a 140 pounder all the way but he looks as comftable as hes ever been at 147, just a shame he hasnt quite got the power he had at 135/140.

Nah I'm not convinced amirs pop was the reason why devon didnt close the distance. IMO he tried to box him from the outside and failed miserably. Poor gameplan.
