There was an article on boxing scene after 1 of Vitali's recent fights about how much K2 (the klits promotional company) were making and it was in that region
Coolio thankfully, even tho they make shedloads guaranteed, they still take no top ranked guys (well wlad does vitali strays every so often)
amir khan vs tim bradley is a trade fight at best. amir khan does'nt have a large fan base and the average man in the street would have no idea who tim bradley is. unless the fight has a good undercard to support it, the fight is not a ppv event (and definately not a "superfight) by itself.
Bradley is ducking. In an interview, he was complaining that he was Shaw's puppet and he didnt want to be, its either fight this guy or no one else. TBF, Shaw got you paid against Alexander and established you as no.1 in the division. What other option did you want? Now he's complaining that for June he was either given Khan or nobody else, no option...Well what other options do you want and WHY would you want other options? This is like a WW complaining they were only offered Pac/Floyd and no one else therefore decides to decline. Khan is no.2 in the division, the biggest draw and will get you paid.
What the f*ck is a 'trade-fight'? Apparently all fights involving Khan are 'trade-fights'...... Jesus, a potential unifcation match with 3 belts plus the ring belt on the line between the clear one & two JWW is 'trade-fight'......bloody moron atsch
:huh Khan probably has one of the biggest fanbases of any active fighter, especially when you take into account his huge following in ****stan, and the rest of the Islamic world. Bradley gets a nasty pasting from Khan and he knows it, he's doing the sensible thing for his career by ducking I guess
I can't believe people are trying to justify the lack of a fight between the clear 1 and 2. The scale isn't as great but this isn't too disimilar to floyd refusing to fight pac when they were the clear 1 and 2 in the division.
