Alexander had Maidana hanging on for dear life. Maidana treated Khan like a rag doll. and khan ran his way to a decision. Alexander will crack that fragile glass mandible of Khans
How many times does Khan have to be beaten before this dumb **** stops...I mean the man has been sparked in 1 round, he got beat by decision, and both by "lesser fighters". Bottom line, Khan isn't what some wish he would be...it doesn't make him failure but he's just not the Elite fighter many pushed him as. He has been beaten and will be beaten again, and he's not a "sure thing" against virtually anyone at the top of 140 or 147...
Devon has an excellent inside fight game so I don't know what you are talking about. Lamont also didn't start off wanting to walk Khan down, he wants to use his reach and walk him into big shots when he was coming in or turning him, he admitted after the bogus knockdown that he had to change his plan. That being said, looking at Devon vs. Urango, Mattheysse, Maidana, and Witter, it is clear devon naturally prefers to fight on the inside and hammer the body, just like Lamont. So in the way the both try to fight on the outside but eventually both tend to find themselves working to get inside and hammer the body they are very alike stylistically, with a couple of differences in that Devon will occassionaly like to sit in the inside and time with heavy counters, while Lamont seems to be one note and stick to bringing pressure constantly. Devon quit, so what? Devon was beating Maidana on the inside, he clinched as part of the strategy though.
Could be a good match up at 47 with both needing a big win to redeem some of the luster they lost with recent opponents I'll take Devon in the match up I think with a better trainer who could give him actual technical advice during match ups he could be a force in the future
How many times does Alexander have to be beaten before the judges score a fight against him. Pure coincidence that he's promoted by Don King. Alexander should have 3 losses on his record not 1. If anyone is a hypejob (****ing hate that expression) its Alexander, certainly wouldnt choose him over Peterson (depending on Don King of course), a fighter that much like Khan understands what it is to fight with grit and heart.:smoke
I remember all the Khan dickriders saying the same thing about my boy Lamont. He was a class below Khan, he would get ran over. LOL. Now instead of hoping Khan beats Peterson, you are trying to diss a clearly better fighter because his career is still trending upwards, while Khan is fighting to keep the wheels from falling off. LOL.
After Khan beats Peterson AGAIN, ***** ass Alexander can hope King Khan breaks him off some and beats his ass at 147. There are alot of ***** ass punks on here talking **** just because Peterson won some home cooked win people trying to play Khan down, watch how Khan ****s Peterson in this rematch, he done pissed King Khan off, ***** give my ****ing titles back, no uncle ref here to save your ass now hahaha. Line these American's up Khan going put a beating on them.
Khan isn't among "the best", so your appaisal of this fight doesn't count for much if this is your opinion on it. Maidana is not elite at any level, Khan beating him wasn't any more impressive than Alexander doing so because the guy can't fight for **** and his punching power was highly overrated. If anything, though, Alexander was more impressive since he wasn't put on ***** Street more times than George Michael unlike Glass Jaw Khan. I am not high on Alexander, he has a lot of holes in his game and he doesn't appear to have the necessary mental fortitude to go to the top but he is a far better Boxer than Khan who is Glass Jawed garbage.
LOL **** Khan's ***** ass. I don't really like Alexander "The Great Clincher" but he would knock Khan the **** out.
