    Salita isn't a good fighter.

He'd struggle to make our domestic top 10 at 140 or 147.

Agreed. I dont think its us all being wise after the event either, pre Khan fight you just needed to take one look at his record to figure out that he may have been over protected and wasnt all that!

This kid just needs to do less talking.

How can he be so stupid as to say he would KO all of Alexander's opponents when that has as recently as Saturday night been proven to be untrue? :nut:patsch

Shame he couldn't pick up a bit of Manny's personality after all that time in training together (not considering Manny's latest outburst in that statement before it's brought up).

I know when a reporter comes looking for you you have to give him/her something to work with but Khan just seems to get it wrong time and again.

We had a thread about Ellie on the general yesterday and this is what I wrote about him:

If you want more serious interviewers there are millions others out there. Ellie get's treated seriously by most boxers because he comes at them with respect, despite being a little hyperactive. I'm glad that most boxers don't think like you do.

As for Khan, we all know he says some dumb **** but people are acting like gossping office bitches trying to find reason to hate him for every little ****in comment he makes. You see so many other boxers say some crazy ass **** but people don't get on their backs as much. **** some of you must have miserable lives, get a ****in life, all this hating. A Man is not supposed to hate like this, leave the bitching to the bitches.

    No he ****ing isn't.

What are you basing this statement on:

    (a) His stellar unbeaten record before the Khan fight, with a resume containing such household names as Ramon Montana and Derrick Campos.

    (b) Some ****ed up reasoning that since he beat Grover Wiley, who beat Julio Cesar Chavez, he must be better than Chavez in the all-time stakes.

    (c) The scintillating ring footage currently available of him online.:rofl

    (d) The fact that he nearly lasted a round against the "perfect fighting machine" that is King Khan.

This is the difference between you and someone like Darni. He would never come out with **** like that; he likes this boy Khan, like you do, but he would never try to justify an unjustifiable opponent in Salita, just so it would make Khan look good. In world terms we all knew Salita was a donkey coming into the fight with Khan, and his performance in the fight itself did nothing to dispell that notion.

In most of his interviews he comes across as a nice guy. A bit dim, sometimes over-confident, sometimes repetitive but generally respectull of opponents, friendly and not a bad guy at all. People will always hate no matter what. Of course what you see in interviews isn't always the true picture but I don't know the guy personally so I have to take him as I see him and to me he seems an okay guy.

I know what you mean when you say "abit dim" you just have to look at his twitter and also all that crap with him txting that slag photos of his ****. Marquez vs Khan will be a decent fight, Marquez isnt just gonna roll over and die, he'll push Khan. Have to say i think Bradley beats Khan by ko (hate to say it).

Nope. Don't tar everyone with same brush. I was glad he got beaten but to call him a bum is not on. I don't like the use of that word and have only used it a few times and cringe thinking back. I know this sport is hard enough without ****s calling fighters bums. I don't rate Khan but i'm not a hater because a hater doesn't give props i do. The lad done well but don't mean i rate him or like him.

Before you ask why i was glad he lost to Prescott..the lad was on Sky Box Office main event against a nobody. Arrogance was already showing in the lads personality. He was lucky imo not to be counted out against Limond. He was imo a fraudulent fighter.

I didn't even read this in your post last night but Lazuras if your going to defend Khan's name just Like Darni you lads have to do it a bit smarter then trying to say Salita's a GOOD fighter. You know and we all know he isn't.

He wasn't deserving of the title shot. He struggled with smaller guys and was put down in fights leading to the bout. People couldn't even muster up a possibility of him winning he is that AVERAGE as a fighter. It's one of the only bouts where ESB was in pretty much 100% agreement.

You get the odd Salita by KO because of Khan's dodgy biscuit tin. I looked at video's of Salita and could only see a average fighter who did a few nice things but had nothing to bring to table. I think Khan did well to blast him out but really and truly Salita's level of opposition was that bad that most world class fighters would of done same to him.

Khan needs to step up and take on some of the top guys some real treats in his defences. Him calling out Marquez is a bit pointless. Marquez wants Pac he wont fight Khan if he has a chance of fighting Pac. That chin of his will prevent him from being a top class fighter and getting the big fights. He is one punch away from a KO. I feel if Khan fight Maidana or even if Zab Judah can make the weight I think both have the power to KO Khan and both fighters would be good for Khan to have on his record.

Listen. Find the definition on GOOD. GREAT. EXCEPTIONAL. There's a difference. When I say good, I mean he's a solid proffesional. You talk like you could get in the ring with him tommorow and knock him out .

I've seen his last fight. He's not great at all. He's just a good solid proffesional like John Murray etc.

Just because you see a guy get blasted out doesn't mean he's a peice of ****. Seriously, yeah he fought bums but he was a GOOD proffesional. NOTHING more.

It's my opinion. If you don't agree then so be it but what I think is that he's GOOD and not because Khan fought him actually. Because I watched Salita's fight and thought he was just a solid pro. I knew he was going to get blasted out when I saw the tapes due to Khan's speed and good power.
