    AMIR KHAN revved up his rematch with Lamont Peterson by admitting: 'I want to hurt him'.

    The Brit had his IBF and WBA crowns ripped away by Peterson in Washington last December.
    But arguments raged over a two-point deduction and controversial judging that saw the American take a split decision.
    Peterson, from DC, has never been given full credit for a win over-shadowed by claims that scores were interfered with and ref Joe Cooper was a 'homer'.
    With a May 19 rematch in Las Vegas finally agreed, Khan made no secret of how he feels.
    He said: "We respect each other from a certain point of view, but I don't like him because he has my titles — I am going in there to hurt him.
    "In fact, I hate him as he has something I want — the belts that he took off me.
    "I've never felt like that before. I want to hurt him and knock him out.
    "But I don't hold a grudge because when you do you can make mistakes. This rematch is all about winning.
    "I am not going in the ring at the Mandalay Bay to be crazy and wild. I want to show him by handing out a boxing lesson.
    "This is definitely a make or break fight for me as there is so much to lose if I don't get back my titles.
    "I honestly thought I won our first fight. This is unfinished business."
    Peterson's tough negotiating team secured 50 per cent of all revenue for the fight.
    The American, who has used boxing to leave behind a life of living rough on DC's streets, insisted the second fight goes ahead because he sanctioned it.
    He said: "When I decided to take the rematch it was not because of anything Khan said or the pressure that was being put on my team.
    "You all thought it was a great fight and I just felt that the time was right to go again.
    "It seems 'Team Khan' still have problems about DC — but nothing shady went on.
    "Khan is getting his chance to make things right but he had better remember I am prepared to die in that ring."

    Whatever, Peterson went in and did what he had to do, he had nothing to do with "hat man" or the referees decision to deduct points.

    The fight was close whoever you favoured for the win and all the trash talk has came from Khan, not Peterson. So Khan can hate all he wants ... he only hates because he didn't do enough to secure the win.

    Khan comes across like a dick in every interview. Peterson is classy and respectful but Khan just sounds thoroughly bitter. If he's hoping to get more fans on his side, he's deluded. He's going to push his fans away, especially those in America who were impressed with the Maidana war.

    He can cry about the referee as much as he wants. It doesn't cover the fact he wasn't the better fighter that night.

    khan is like a little child . I hope he loseds again and gets humbled. He iznt a top fighter as much as he swears he is. War Peterson!!

    Hurt is the name of the game. He hasn't done anything to be hated for apart from his job. Petersen comes across as an ok guy

    There was times in the last fight Peterson showed great head movement, evaded some fast punches, needs to show that more in this fight with aggression, lateral movements when going forward as well rather in straight lines which were tailer made for Khan's amateur punch throwing.

    Yeah, I think the same way. I was warming to Khan before the first Peterson fight. Now, I want him to lose cleanly to humble him.

    Totally agree.

    I've never really been a fan but I was just starting to get converted after the Judah fight and buying into the idea he could develop into the real deal , but his outside the ring whining, I just can't stand it.

    I secretly hope he gets his arse kicked, but on the night I'll probably root for him cos he's a Brit.

    He isn't going to knock him out...

    He may be trying to fool him...
    He may be trying to sell a fight...

    Peterson better not hope for Khan to be aggressive up close... because he won't...

    Freddie gonna tell him to work the jab & angles...
