I can understand where the ODI and T20 fans are coming from, TBH. I grew up watching Test cricket so for me it's a given, whereas if you aren't too hot on the longer form of the game but like your excitement, T20 and ODIs make complete sense.

 

ODI's are soon to be extinct. They are becoming redundant, I think more T20 will come in and marginalize the one day format. Overs 15-40 are boring as **** and generic.

 

I'm obviously no expert (to say the least) but to make it watchable to me I need a runs target and a result (even if its a draw) on the day.
