To be honest only one fight matters for me regarding Marquez and that is another Pac fight...Pac should face him again.

If Marquez can not get Pac then Khan is the next best option.

Maidana is an easy walkover for Khan.

If Khan really wanted to fight Maidana, he'd fight Maidana. To be honest i'm suprised most of you are shocked, you could see this coming, he'll never fight a legit 140lbs fighter, neither Maidana, Alexander or Bradley.

In my opinion they're waiting for Maidana to be beaten so they can discredit him, saying what's the point since (insert name here) has beaten him.

Let's say he fight's Marquez in December and come's out on top... What will Khan fan's do if his fight after Marquez, is against another tomato can/or lightweight. What excuses will be made up then? As it's bound to happen

No they are talking ****, Khan V Marquez is a crap fight which we will all know the outcome to before it even happens. If Maidana is so hopeless Khan should fight him and silence all his critics.

He's not that good but he's beaten Ortiz, has power and would not be physically disadvantaged unlike Marquez would. I think Khan beats him easy just as he does Marquez but he's not terrible and at least has a punchers chance. He's the mandatory and people are giving Khan **** for avoiding punchers so get it out the way and then move on to bigger fish like Alexander and Bradley. Why keep fighting lightweights when it's time to move on and go ahead? Marquez isn't Pacquiao who can move up the weights and get more effective. The size difference is of great importance in this case. Khan get's a lot of hate and will get it regardless of who he faces, but unless he gets back down to 135, this is another cherrypick fight.

I think he could do that now to be honest the way that his body has been reshaped , it would be a scrape but he hardly looked like a ghost weighing in at 139 against Paulie. You've got to admit that Maidana is a plodder and his win over Ortiz was more to do with Victors lack of heart than Maidanas skill...if/when Khan blows Maidana out of the water early Marcos will be being labelled with Salita in the "never very good in the first place" tag.

IF he did do that, and then beat Marquez then that would really be an awesome achievement.

Decent step up, brave move. I'm sure we all have reservation at Khan fighting somebody who can break eggs with a punch, but from the 135 division.

IMO they're rushing him too fast because they need to try to sell the fight in the States. They should be having him make defenses against a few Featherweights first. Maybe a fight with the other Marquez after the Juanma fight?

There's plenty of old guys lower down as well.

And the haters should shut the hell up. It's not Khans fault he's in such a dead division at the moment

And if Khan took him out you would just say that Maidana was a hype job and no better than Salita :huh

Based on last weeks performance I think that Khan would struggle at either weight against Marquez even though he has the physical advantages. Marquez against Bradley or Alexander would also be a win for the Mexican in my view.
