That has nothing to do with this discussion. Khan shouldn't be fighting Marquez at lww regardless of how Bradley would do against him.

imo i think bradley is a very winnable fight for marquez. alot of people are talking the lightwelter division up when none of the operaters are proven at the elite level imo

I'm just interested...how do you think that the shorter Bradley would do against Marquez?, its a legitimate question especially considering that Bradley is largely considered to be "the man" at 140 :thumbsup

I think the point being made is that Khan gets a lot of **** for his choice of opposition - yet we hardly hear a word about Alexander facing the man Khan shut out, Ortiz taking on a shot to ****, glass jawed Vivian Harris, or Maidana feasting on Chop Chop Corley.

Of the four opponents in question, I'd say Marquez is easily the harder fight - H2H he'd be 3-0 (2) against those.

Or Bradley v's 1 LW and 1 SF has beens, and 3 assorted never weres after taking the strap from Witter. All i'm asking for in any discussion about Khan is a bit of balance and context.

It's not a legitimate question in the context of this discussion and who exactly considers Bradley to be "the man" at 140? I certainly don't.

Plenty consider him the man, either him or Alexander. And my question is perfectly legitimate in the context of the discussion...stop ducking it :hey

I don't know how that fight would go, I don't want to find out either as I don't think Marquez should be fighting above lightweight.

Everybody has slated those choices of opponents. In fairness to Alexander he has tried to get a fight against everybody in the division. Maidana signed up to fight Bradley and would have except for the management problems. Alexander and Bradley are rumored to be fighting each other in January.

Ortiz's opponents are are fairly ****, but he's not a champion and nobody is giving him much attention at the moment.

Khan won the title and is taking one fight with no risk after another. It's not a hate campaign like some people make it out, people just generally want to see him take better fights.

Marquez is a Malignaggi style perfact matchup for Khan.

In addition to this Marquez is moving up in weight, at 37, something hes only done once before and looked dog**** in the process.

GBP have a 3 fight deal with Khan, i think the plan was for the first 2 fights to be used as a bulid Khan up in the U.S and hopefully the 3rd vs a top 140 fighter.

If Khan dont fight Maidana after JMM, i myself wont defend him. To be fair GBP make the fights but Khan after this must put his foot down and demand a fight vs Maidana next.

I think also this Bradley vs Alexander fight Jan 29th might even help Khan get in the ring with Maidana, as it was his idea for Bradley-Alexander to face off and so he can fight Maidana, and winner fights winner.
